    I bought these boots in my regular size 9. Having not tried them on before purchasing, I had no idea what to expect! I've tried on other Sorel boots in stores and they never fit quite right (the Winter Carnival, Joan of Arc's). These are amazing! They are soooo comfortable, good foot support within the boot and they are toasty! I forgot to bring an extra pair of shoes with me to work, and I had to take these off because my feet were sweating. I haven't been this pleased with a footwear purchase in a while! Love that they're waterproof, love that they have a pretty low profile look to them, they'll go with any outfit and I love that they're pull on and off so I don't have the hassle of tying up laces every time I go out! Thanks Sorel and thanks Amazon! Fast shipping was a bonus!

    I purchased these via a different site thinking they were a better alternative to Uggs and b/c they're actually waterproof. I've been wearing them the last couple weeks, since the Polar Vortex and while they're warm and good on snow - they really grip & crunch the snow - they are *horrible* on wet floors. I have to commute on snowy sidewalks to wet subway platforms, wet subway trains and wet subway stations. I have had to become extra careful when I'm on the subway or on a subway station floor that's tile. Everyone else around me seems fine but I've slipped a couple times already on the subway and station floor when I tried to walk normally. I have to take baby steps to keep from slipping around.
    So, if you are going to be wearing these outside on snow, on dirt, on gravel, on rough pavement - go for it. If you're buying these to wear as a commuter shoe, I don't recommend them.
    Regarding size, I wear a 9 or 9.5 depending on the shoe. I purchased a 9.5 in these and the length is just about right but they are super roomy so you can't wear them with regular socks. Even a thin wool sock was a bit too thin. To me they also seem too heavy, definitely clunky, but I imagine it's due to the thick rubbery sole, which helps keep your foot warm. (Though is not slip resistant.)

    I had to return a pair of UGG's that were 3 times as expensive and these are really more comfortable. I wear between a 9 and 10 depending on the shoe so I ordered a 9.5 after the UGG's being too small. I am glad I ordered this size because my foot runs wide and they fit perfect. I have a high arch so getting my foot in is a little bit of work but once it is in they gave me enough room to add my UGG inserts that make them fuzzy and comfortable, I don't like to wear socks in my snow boots because my feet get too hot, with the added fur with the UGG insert my feet are cozy. One thing to be advised the fur only goes to the ankle and no fur lining on the bottom I wore them for a few hours around the house and my feet were sweating, once I pull the liner out of my old UGG's I wore them to work and they don't sweat with the added liner. Down side of the product is no pull tabs on the side or the back so pulling them on is a challenge at first I think from other reviews that may improve but I am going to take to my shoe repairman and have him add pull strap.

    I may have been the unlucky one. Love these boots, but after two weeks of Northern Wisconsin weather, the inside liner tore in one of the boots. I did however, contact Amazon, who gladly replaced the boots in about a week, so the new ones are looking real good and hopefully will not rip in the liner again.

    These have an insole and sole more like a sneaker than Ugg-type boots. Very springy insole with good arch support, amazing for walking around all day without getting tired feet. Does run a bit wide, but I have wide feet so that's great. I waver between a 9.5 and a 10, but I have a very high arch and Sorel boots tend to have a very tight transition into the foot bed, so I went with a 10 on this and my arch barely made it in (but it also eases up a bit with wear). Interior of the foot is a soft knit fabric with a little synthetic fleece in the shaft. The 'Elk' color is a very warm, dark caramel, bordering on a congac, which is great because it matches some of my leather accessories. Waterproof, warm, will be even warmer with a nice pair of cozy socks when it gets really chilly. Excellent quality and comfort - I will never ever consider purchasing an UGG-type boot as long as Sorel makes the Glacy boot!!

    Bought these as a gift for my partner. She adores them, perfect for snow, warm, lightweight. She has a high arch and they were hard to put on at first but after 3 or 4 wearings they are just fine. Too bad they don't have two loops to help pull them on- the only reason i gave them 4 stars and not 5

    I've only had these boots for a few days but so far I absolutely love them. Really comfortable, they put a bit of a spring in your step with as others say a real arch and cushioning. . I've been wearing them around the house and all day at work today because honestly they feel that good. I have average sized calves and feet and my normal size in these is fine. These aren't narrow, they allow for thicker socks and aren't difficult to pull on ( maybe a bit more with thick socks). They look great too, more sporty and athletic than ugg type style boots, which I prefer. Get 'Em!
