the locking seal is quality made, and the bag would probably fit 2 normal 3.5" hard drives side by side. They also sent me some sort of key chain flotation device with the bluecell logo on it. They knew this whole time that I would be packing things while out at sea, and that my keys may go flying overboard; so they were looking out for me. Also, all of these bags were in a larger anti-static bag. Yo dawg, we heard you like anti-static, so we put yo anti-static bags in an anti-static bag, so you can prevent static while you prevent static.

Some smaller dimension antistatic bags had reviews stating it was difficult or impossible to get a 3.5" HDD in the bag. Rest assured these bags can easily fit two 3.5" HDDs, probably three. This is just to give you an idea of how much workable space you have -- I wouldn't recommend placing more than a single HDD in an antistatic bag, especially if it's being transported.

These bags can also fit other electronic components, depending on their size. I can see them being useful for many PCI/PCI-e cards, RAM modules, etc. The fact that they're reusable/resealable means they're a handy addition to your electronics toolkit, if you're geeky enough to have one of those.

Why can't every product be like this? It is made from a high grade of antistatic plastic which is better than ANYTHING I have seen coming from a manufacturer (WD, Seagate, Intel, etc).

I expect some losses over time due to mishandling by me, but I believe I have a good shot at using these for at least a decade if not more.

AND THEY ARE CHEAP!

Pros: Inexpensive and resealable. Perfect size for 3.5" hard drive storage.

Cons: Looks like a pretty low grade antistatic compared to others out there....better than nothing though.

Also, mine came with a cleaning cloth and a velco strap....guess they ran out of the mini stylus.....lol

These are definitely much larger than needed for a 3.5" HDD but that doesn't really impact how I used them. Drives go in, they snap closed like storage bags and they protect my electronics. That's really all I can ask.

For the price you get what you pay for. These came in a plain Ziploc bag (no anti-static bag for my anti-static bags as another reviewer mentioned) and there was nothing else in the box; no stylus or cleaner or anything. I know that's an extra but don't advertise something you are no longer including. The bags are also pretty cheap; they are nothing like the bags that come with a hard drive. I can barely tell the material is anti-static; it feels like just a reinforced Ziploc bag. They are a perfect fit for a hard drive though; I used this to return a 3.5" hard drive for warranty repair and it fit perfectly inside the bag with almost half of it available to fold over. I just hope it really is anti-static. I don't think I would purchase this brand again if I had to, though I doubt I ever will need to again as having 20 is more than enough for anything I will ever need.

I ordered 2 of these 20-packs since I have a fair amount of larger desktop hard drives and other electronics which right now are just in Ziploc bags, but will soon all be put into their own antistatic bag. I ordered these February 20th and they just arrived moments ago today (February 26th at about 3:30 in the afternoon right on schedule)

Each set of 20 antistatic bags came in their own plastic bag and those two bags came in standard corrugated carboard packaging, like what a book would be sent in. I've briefly checked out the bags and there seems to be no issues with any of them. I'm very happy to have them right on time and if I find any issues I'll revise my review accordingly.

Very functional as a storage bag for electronic and computer components. It is a little too big for laptop drives and laptop RAM modules, but that is not a specific fault of the product, as the size indicated in the description was accurate. It does fit just about everything with the exception of high-end video cards and main-boards. It fits 3.5" HDDs and most other desktop internal expansion cards well.

These bags do roll up quite well, so if you don't mind the wasted space when dealing with laptop-sized components, they will work.
