Honda brand oil as advertised. Hondas are touchy about their fluids and p/s is one of them to use oem only. Drained and filled 2008 mdx at 85k miles. Fluid looked black like coffee. Had intermittent pump noise that hasn't come back since fluid change. Not sure why Acura doesn't list this in maintenance schedule. Will drain and fill again to try and get lines and rack cleaned out.

Just perfect. Dealer was asking for 100 bucks to do power steering flush . Just bought these and did drain and refill one bottle every week and i am all set. Not complicated at all, can be done by anyone even if you are a noob (i know i am one.)

This is the ONLY power steering fluid you should be using in your Honda. For some reason Honda doesn't recommend ever changing your power steering fluid, but spending a few bucks now will save you a $1000 headache down the road. Here's how you can do a quick-and-cheap power steering fluid change:

1. Open the power steering fluid reservoir and suck out about 75% of the fluid with a turkey baster (don't use your wife's from the kitchen ... go grab one from the dollar store).
2. Fill up the reservoir and replace the cap
3. Turn the car on and turn the steering wheel back and forth a few times. This will mix the nice, new fluid in with the old, black stuff.
4. Suck more fluid out of the reservoir, replace with new, turn steering wheel, and keep repeating until your bottle of power steering fluid is empty.
5. Take the used power steering fluid to an auto parts store or HAZMAT disposal site to get rid of it. You can't dump this stuff down the drain!

NOTE: keep in mind that the turkey baster method is not as effective as a full power steering fluid flush, but the turkey baster method is also much easier. Also, considering that Honda does not generally recommend any power steering fluid changes, this method seems adequate. I change out about one bottle per year and my Civic is going strong.

Power steering fluid, lubricates the power steering unit, this stuff really helps turn the wheel left to right and right to left. It's Honda power steering fluid after all! Hip hip hooray. Helps the power steering really turn me round and round. Recommend this for Honda or Acura vehicles as it helps wet the whistle of any Honda / Acura power steering unit.

It is Honda power steering fluid and far better priced than the stealership has it. I would not recommend using anything other than this stuff in your Honda's as I've found other fluids tend to leak out. I'd imagine the only real difference is viscosity but it definitely stays in the system better.

This works properly, and is exactly what is supposed to fill a Honda power steering system.

I had a leaky PS return hose in my 1995 Acura Integra (it was original), so I decided to flush the power steering fluid while I was in there. I ended up needing 2 whole bottles of fluid + a little from the third to top off the system. I didn't use the turkey baster method, since I was taking off the return hose anyway, I put an acrylic hose on the return line and fed it into an old jug. If I were to do it again, I'd use the turkey baster method.

I ordered this 3 pack to do a flush of my power steering system on my 2000 Accord. Price was right and delivery was super quick. Within days the shipper had them to my door. Saved me a trip to my crook of a Honda dealer. If you haven't flushed your power steering system in awhile do yourself a favor and buy at least 4 bottles of this stuff as three just isn't enough to thoroughly flush out the nasty old stuff.
