I bought these bowls mainly because I thought they were completely made of steel stainless steel and I loved that vibrant blue color, but the only thing steel about them is the inside part of the bowl, the outside is a deep dark blue-not at all like the color shown in the picture-and made of some thick plastic, I was trying to avoid plastic. I would return it but it's way too much of a hassle to deal with that... and I guess it'll do until I buy some new ones. But I honestly wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I am really dissapointed with these pet bowls. They are made with the cheapest quality posible and the "no-slip" rubber smells toxic. I will return them immediately!! Instead I will buy the Loving Pets Bowls, they cost less and are better quality...

Very cute. A sanitary ware to feed pet. Wish somehow it could be put in microwave. We heat the food with a little broth. But rubber/plastic just aren't sanitary enough and then you worry about chemicals leeching into food.
I would defin. get again. We heat food in pyrex cup and then pour into bowl..
