Oh, its sticky alright. That wasn't the problem. On our second of the TWO hot days we had in the PACIFIC NORTHWEST the thing melted into a puddle and dripped all over my dash. Its now stained on my black console... I guess I'll remember it forever now. Would not recommend if its gonna melt on an 80 degree day.

I really love the concept and it worked great.... until the first 80 something degree day, when it melted into a gooey nasty mess on my dashboard. I guess I can still use them in the winter.

I saw this product at the fair and it sounded perfect but also sounded too good to be true. Found it on the internet and gave it a shot. Used it twice a day for about a month and noticed that it was starting to slip. I took it out of the car and got it wet with water in the kitchen sink and to my amazement the next morning it became very sticky again and I put it back in the car again and it works like new. Very happy with the product.

Never looked at the reviews before I bought but see other people had the same problem. They will melt and become impossible to get off cleanly in hot temps. It melted and had to take some citrus cleaner to peal the mess off my dash. What a mess.

For three bucks, I can't complain much about these. The pads look exactly as pictured in each color. They are pretty sticky, but this depends on the surface. Unfortunately for me, they stick extremely well to my phone's crystal clear plastic case, but do not stick as well to the surface of my car's dash compartment. This caused the pad to come up with my phone. Could be fixed maybe by putting some washable adhesive or double-sided/mounting tape underneath, but my solution was to rub a napkin onto the top surface so some of the fibers would stick and make it less sticky. This worked pretty well and now it holds my phone in place without removing when I pick the phone up.

These could be 5-star if one side had a stronger adhesive to keep the pad stuck to the surface it is on. I had one in the past that was like this. But again, the price is ridiculously hard to argue with.

i bought these thinking ow 5 of them, i will keep 3 and give the other 2 away. NOT only was i embarrassed about the 2 i gave away the 3 i kept lasted me 5 days. before they were no longer sticky they also ripped/fell apart/ didnt stick at all (i followed instructions on how to clean them)
And the Worst part of this buying this item is that i cant even ask for a return because the 2 i gave away, i'm to embarrassed to ask for them. lol item is a joke. JUST KEEPING IT REAL.
