Great Boots

I just recieved the boots and I have worn them while shoveling snow and on the way to work. The boots definetly kept my feet warm and dry. I haven't been in -40 degree weather yet, but I have a feeling that my feet would be warm if I were wearing these boots. I always put a extra insert in my shoes to give them more support and comfort and these boots fit my feet well. I normally wear size 13 and that is exactly what I ordered. They fit my feet perfect, even with thick socks. I paid $66 for these boots and I must say they are as good as boots that I have seen priced at around $200. These boot are close to being mukluks, except that they have a little more support. They go on and off very easy and feel very sturdy.

Sturdy Inexpensive Winter Boot Conquers Winter Cold

I have been a Sorels boot wearer my entire life. With this boot, I switch from Sorel to Kamik. Kamik is superior in every way to Sorel, and is less expensive too. The bottom tread is bold and really grips slippery surfaces. Sorels have minimal tread and are very slippery on icy snow. Kamik boots have a reinforced lower rubber boot that is much stronger and tear resistant than any Sorel boot I have owned. The upper is a tough weather resistant leather that is strong, yet pliable. The laces are easy to strap up and tie off. The inner insert is thick and comfortable, and (thankfully) warm. The entire boot us much smaller than that of the sorel, thus, walking is much more comfortable in the Kamik. I have walked five miles in these and my feet felt great.

These are not the very top of the line boots that have advanced insulation and cost more than my weekly paycheck! These are an everyday practical boot that is warm, durable and practical for the north country winters. I really like them, and like the price too! Kone

Ordered one size larger than normal

I absolutely Love these boots, right after I purchased them we had snow and a below zero cold spell. I had to scoop snow in -10 degree weather with wind chills approaching -40, my feet never even began to get cold!! It was the first time in memory that I was able to be out in that type of weather and not have cold feet!! LOVE THEM! I originally ordered the size of boots I have always purchased and when they came I had to return them and order the next size up. They are the most comfortable winter boots I have ever owned.

My man loves it

I gave it to my partner -- I got it a bit big (12 instead of 11) per the comments. It fits perfectly, and came at a much needed time. He had to go out and shovel about 6" of snow off the walks, and his feet stayed dry and warm and comfortable.

Perfect Winter Boot!

My grown son has been too "cheap" to buy himself a pair of boots for quite some time now. You can't believe how may pair of sneakers he ruined shoveling snow, etc.! Not to mention how wet his feet got (after all, I am still a mother!)! Finally, for Christmas I decided that I would buy him boots (rather than just ELECTRONIC GAMES he asked for; even fathers don't grow up that much!). He loved them. They fit him perfectly; and they keep his feet warm and dry (we had a very hard winter with a lot of snow). Definitely worth the price (which I don't think was high). As for sizing; he's an adult now and out of my home so I had to guess. I have ordered him sneakers in the past (Nikes) so I used that sizing for these and it was perfect. If you buy a pair of these, you won't be sorry.

So far im very satisfied with the boots

So far im very satisfied with the boots. They fit well and are very comfortable. I used them on my last day of hunting and I was in a marsh, my feet stayed dry and warm. that is the only time I've used them so far. they are a very sharp looking boot I was told by others that saw them.
