Having twins (age 2) and a toddler (age 4), I have had almost every stroller out there. I still use this stroller daily and I have had it for about 9 months now. No other stroller can beat the compactness and simplicity of this stroller. But, it does have some flaws:

1. The sun canopy is a joke. It is very tall and does not extend outward enough to cover the child in the front. Be sure to bring some sun block if you plan on being out in the sun for long.
2. The front seat does not recline enough. It reclines back about 1 inch.
3. Some of the parts are cheaply made. I already had to have a shoulder strap replaced because the plastic hook broke. Also, every time I push the brake down or pull it up, I feel like I am going to break the stroller. It is very fragile.
4. If you put enough items in the basket underneath, it will unsnap and fall to the floor.
5. Okay...so this is the part I HATE the most---the seats are incredible short. I like to say that they are not "tantrum proof." It is very easy for the child in the front seat to slip off the seat, especially when stretching and throwing a tantrum (you know what I mean!).
6. This is not the type of stroller that will allow you to put your children in without buckling them in. It is vey easy for the stroller to tip over backwards if the child in the back seat stands up and you don't have a child in the front seat.
7. Don't expect to push this thing on anything but flat pavement. The wheels can't withstand much.

Honestly, I don't know if I would get this stroller again. I would love to buy the improved version someday.

LOOOOVE this stroller! We have a 20 month old and 7 month old. I did a TON of research trying to find a small, lightweight, double stroller. After a while I just decided that one must not exist - - until I found this one!

The first time I used it three mom's asked me where I'd gotten it. lol. Well worth the money - we sold our other double stroller on craigslist first before getting this one because there was a bit of sticker shock at spending $300 bucks on a stroller.

Pros:
- It's SO much smaller and lighter than my first double stroller (Contours - Options Tandem Stroller).
- It folds SO SMALL! Folded in the back of my car, it's half the size of my old Graco single stroller!
- Quick to open and close up.
- Easy to get through doorways, narrow hallways, etc.
- You can hang a bag on the handles and it won't fall over (LOL).
- Little cup holder you can clip on and off.
- Stadium seating is great for kid in back (so they can see out too).
- It really is not long at all, shorter than my single Graco stroller - awesome!
- You can clip in a car seat and still have your other kid sit in there too (I have not tried this yet).

Cons:
- The instructions when you get it aren't very detailed; but you can find more help online.
- Back seat is quite shallow, you have to clip your kid in there (even if you're not walking - just putting them in there to nap while at a BBQ, etc.) or they'll just slide down to the foot rest.
- Not a lot of storage.. but it's technically an umbrella stroller so most of those don't have one anyway.
- Canopy shade won't fully cover front kid.

We're taking a flight to Seattle in a few weeks and I'm excited to use this in the airport!!

Do yourself a favor and get this stroller!!!

---Maggie :)

After the birth of our second child, I searched high & low for a double stroller that was lightweight, easy to maneuver & fold, and that would fit in our small car.

I had seen the Kinderwagon Hop online, but never in person, so I was a little nervous about buying something I couldn't try first, but I'm so happy I took a chance. Our almost 2 year loves it- the first time we put him it it, he refused to get out! I think he likes that the seat is very upright and he can easily see things as we're walking.

Pros:
-Very easy to fold. It's more or less like folding a single umbrella stroller. I don't have to remove the second seat to fold it (like most tandem strollers).
-Folds very small, only a little bigger (mostly longer) than most umbrella strollers. It is a little too long for the trunk of our VW Golf, but it fits easily sitting upright in the back seat.
-Easy to get both kids into their seats. With the tandem Phil & Ted's I found accessing the bottom seat to be a bit tough on my back, as it required bending at an awkward angle for me.
-Upright seats. Most strollers are somewhat reclined, even in their most upright position. Our toddler prefers sitting upright so he can see easily. We keep the back seat reclined a bit for our 7 month old.
-decent sized basket with side zipper access. I honestly wasn't expecting a basket with an umbrella stroller, but it has come in handy for small items.
-Great customer service. We did have an issue with the clips on one of the shoulder straps breaking. It was very easy to contact customer service and they quickly sent us replacement straps.

Cons-
-As others have mentioned, the child in back can pull the hair of the child in front.
