This review won't be long... I just wanted to say that this RAM works with the Dell Inspiron 15 N5110 laptop. I did a ton of research and I still wasn't 100% sure when purchasing this that it would be correct, but it turned out to be right after all. I'm not sure about any other laptops, but with the N5110, this RAM absolutely does work. I installed it, turned on the computer, and it showed up immediately. That's about it. Works as RAM is supposed to work.

Now Windows 7 Pro just flies!
It used to have 4 GB of RAM, which was apparently not enough.
Especially when automatic Windows' updates tried to install.
As a result all apps were slow, with a lot of swapping to hard drive.
Now it's super fast!

KTD-L3B/4G - the reason so many people have trouble with their N7010 like me in finding the right RAM is because the laptop doesn't accept HIGH density ram - must be LOW density or the chipset can't handle it. The speed isn't very important like I was worried about because if this was not LOW it would NOT work.

This came straight from Kingston themselves but it's a DISCONTINUED product. You have to buy it used so if you want it, you better get it. EBay is a good place still (03/2016) to find some...
