I bought this sander because I was so happy with my Shop Fox spindle sander. The table was not coplanar and the motor was much louder than the spindle sander. Amazon was quite accommodating, as usual, and allowed me to replace this unit with the Jet 12" disc sander. Glad that I did. I am very happy with the Jet.

This has been an excellent machine. I'm comparing it to a Jet Sander of the same size that I owned a few years ago. They are identical except the Jet had a brake. I just use the eraser to brake this one. There was a substantial difference in the price of the two units. I'm very happy with my decision to purchase the Fox and will look for more of their machines, as needed.
