My niece is going to love this doll. One thing that is not mentioned in the description is that this doll is apparently meant to sit on a shelf or something based on the shape of the top of her fin. She will still work as a doll for my niece to play with but I wish I had realized that before purchasing.

I love everything anout this mermaid except it seemed like they didn't put quite enough stuffing in the tail. I'm sure they didn't stuff it completely full because they wanted her to be able to sit but it seems too empty just below her buttocks. Other than that the size and quality seem very good.

I saw this at an aquarium gift shop for $20. Great size, well made, and adorable. Found it on Amazon for half the price. This is the third Aurora World Mermaid 18' doll I have bought from Amazon now. It is my go-to gift for the kindergartners' and first-graders' birthday parties my son gets invited to! They have several different dolls so that you can get one that looks similar to the child you're buying for. So far, so good! The kids have been happy with them!
