I would never expect a processed, prepackaged, unrefrigerated product to compare in any way to a dish prepared with fresh ingredients in the moment. Having said that, the Tasty Bite products are flavorful and satisfying, and the Pad Thai is no exception.

It's not gummy, as I expected it would be. The vegetables are not plentiful, but they're also not the chewy, re-hydrated bits you find in other brands. It has some heat and a pleasing flavor that is certainly adequate for what it is. The best news for me is that at 19%/serving of the daily allowance, this product has far less sodium than other brands. It also has no preservatives, it's non-GMO, the packaging is BPA free, and it's Kosher.

It's convenient--it can be stored in your pantry or briefcase, and it's ready in 1+ minute for those times you can't cook a meal from scratch. It's also inexpensive, coming in at about $1.25 a serving. When I want to beef the portion up, I just add some steam-in-the-bag vegetables.

I have no complaints.

These are spicy and flavorful and sooooo easy to make in your microwave. If they sold it in a 12 pack, I would buy it. My only comment is that I cook mine for one and a half minutes and not for just 1 minute. I like my food to come out a bit steamy, but to each their own. They say heat it in a microwave for 1 minute. I tried it, had to increase the time. If you have a brand new, high-powered microwave, then 1 minute is probably ok. Regardless of cooking time. This is a great product with a kind of blend of Asian and Indian spices. I enjoyed it very much. I will buy this again and try some of their other asian dishes. Just remember, it's spicy and yummy!

I bought this at the store the other day, they were doing a demo / sampling. Liked it so much, bought some and had this one first (they had some of Asian Noodle flavors). This was delicious and easy to fix. Would be great for taking as a work lunch (or for me that sometimes only gets 10 minutes for lunch so cannot cook anything too long). The packaging is tough and would not easily puncture in a lunch bag.

I have used and loved Tasty Bite curries almost since they came out. The new noodles line is a wonderful addition. Each pouch is supposed to hold two servings, but I use them for difficult days when I have no chance to cook, and I eat a whole pouch at once, with some source of protein (a hard-boiled egg or two, or something like that). This flavor is so good even at room temperature, if I can't heat it I eat it. Yum! (I'm not judging it against restaurant Kung Pao: just as a quick addition to the daily diet!)

these came in the mail yesterday when i came home sick from work and i was so glad to get them. i have a head cold flu something. i did not feel like cooking and i hadn;t opened the box yet. i was on the couch thinking i was going to go to sleep hungry because i felt too bad to make anything. thats when i remembered what was in the box. i could make this. i ate 2 packages yesterday and 2 today. this is not the type of noodles i would be looking to order in a restaurant, but what they taste like is not the biggest priority for me in this event. i will eat anything natural and vegetarian.
so, you rip the bag and microwave for a minute and throw in a bowl. the 2nd package can be thrown in the same bowl AND i have plastic forks. the spices cleared my sinuses and made me feel better. it was comforting food. i ate 2 packages because in both cases, i waited too long to get something to eat. i will buy this again.

**Warning - Amazon posts these reviews for all flavors by the brand, as if they are all the same - note this was written for Lemongrass and Ginger, with a better mention for Mushroom Lo Mein (also greasy and poor value, but slightly better flavor)**

These are seriously awful. I don't know what dish this was supposed to be mimicking the taste of, but it doesn't taste like any food I've ever had. It has a strong flavor - like onions that rotted, is the only way I can think of to describe it so others can decide for themselves if they want to purchase - and an excess of orange oil. There was very little in the way of vegetables in here, so poor value for the money. It didn't taste much like Lemongrass or Ginger flavor to me, and sadly tasted pretty processed despite being all natural. I bought it for some junk food that was not loaded with chemicals, and since they don't load it preservatives I give them an extra star for effort. But I don't get where they selected the flavor from, they could have made it into something far tastier if someone at the company had even tried to make this taste like food. I mixed in my own vegetables and some traditional seasonings to try to mask the taste, thinking I could use them at least as a starter, but the taste was so strong no matter what I added to it it still had that unpleasant flavor. I tried the Mushroom Lo Mein one too, which tasted slightly better, but this one was the worst flavor I tried. Disappointed, I wanted to like these. :( If you think you'll like these, by all means give them a try, but at least someone warned you you might not like it - particularly if you've had actual SE Asian food before.
