Martin Guitar Polish works out fine for my gloss natural spruce top
Martin guitar. It does what I need it for. It cleans my favorite guitar safely and also 3 others I own. Most importantly it does
no harm. If your looking for a sparkling shine job you will be
disappointed. However it does clean dirt, smudges and oily
residue quite well. Your guitar will look better.

I have a new Martin D35 and wanted some polish and a cloth to clean it. To do the job properly according to Martin instructions you really need two cloths, one to apply the polish and another to wipe it off. Unfortunately I can't find the Martin cloth by itself for a reasonable price so I've ordered several by other brands to compare quality.

I am very pleased with the performance of the polish. Be sure to read the instructions, Martin says "don't apply the polish directly to the guitar, put it on cloth and wipe it on the guitar". When used correctly the finish on my Martin D35 looks like brand new, I'm pleased with the quality of the polish and the cloth.

I deducted one star because this kit should really have two cloths in it to support the printed directions for care of a new Martin acoustic instrument.

I was expecting this to be more of a cream and was surprised that this cleaner/polish came out of the bottle as a clear liquid. It went on easy, dried quickly and rubbed out very nicely. It will leave your guitar with a nice shiny, smudge resistant, finish.

I've tried a lot of guitar polishes and cleaners. This is, without doubt, the best one. I'm a little picky about what I put on my 1952 00-17 but this stuff really cleans the mahogany and gives a natural shine. Great for the rosewood frets also. 5 Stars, no doubt.

I got it for my d18 and it works well. Gonna use it on my other guitars as well when I ever get around to it. Spiffs it up nice! Nice little cloth with it, kind of reminds me of minute wax for cars where ya apply it from the cloth and wipe it down and after a minute or two it gets that haze and ya wipe it again to get the brilliant shine.
