I shared these with my sisters, as a nostalgic reminder of our childhood in Europe. I remember them tasting better, but my sisters assured me that they haven't changed. They were, however, harder than we remembered. Maybe slightly stale?
I still have about 3/4 of the bag left and although it was fun to re-experience this candy, I wish I hadn't paid so much for it.

Amazing candy. What people need to realize is that these are not candies for chewing unless very warm. The whole point is to be patient and enjoy the flavor, they crack because they aren't warm enough! (Even at room temperature)

Terrible. I wasn't as lucky as the other reviewrs.
I bought it so my kids could experience this great candy that I had when I was a kid. It was expensive but I thought it would be worth it.
The caramel was so hard we could not chew it. It was either old or not stored properly. While unwrapping it, parts of the wrapping were stuck to the candy. I tried to bend the bar and it just cracked in two !!!
This is a huge disappintment and a big waste of money!!!
