I have to give 5 stars to this product amd company. They have excellent service and I love this bell. We used it at a crew Regatta. The rowers cannot hear us cheering but they say they can hear the bells!! We put our team logo on the bells to personalize them...

Apparently this is not an 'official' cowbell. It is a bit smaller than the cowbells the majority of people have at the games. Also the inside metal piece that makes the noise (can't think of what it's called), gets stuck when ringing the cowbell. Disappointing. My daughter is getting me one from Mississippi State for Christmas.

This bell is LOUD. It doesn't take much effort to produce loud noise and not much more to take it into deafening range. I actually kind of wish I'd bought a smaller bell for cheering people on. The handle makes it really easy to use for hours.

It works well. The knocker or part that bangs into the outside to make the noise is attached by a rigid piece of wire. It gets jammed inside and doesn't make noise until it's un-jammed which can be a pain in the butt. I cut it our and reattached with a loose wire and it works better now.

Product worked for short period (less than an hour) but then the iron ball shaped part inside broke and I had to improvise by putting something to make it work. Bought it for my wife's 3rd marathon and luckily improvisation helped.
