the 1/2 inch might have been a better choice.

We are using the Isolate It! strips as a floor vibration and noise dampener for an air handler (air blower). They do soften the humm'n sound(s) vibrating thru parts our home. However, in my case, the 1/2 inch might have been a better choice.

They are good but I wouldn't want anything softer for my needs

I used these to make custom mounts for a couple Setrab coolers in the car. Initially I read 70 is about tire tread hardness, now I have felt it, and I don't know what kind of tire that is! This stuff is very "springy" and can be compressed alot. They are good but I wouldn't want anything softer for my needs.
