Might be OK in the Carolina, but no great shakes in the great white north.
I was looking for a washer alternative with a lower freeze point with more aggressive streak free cleaning. Mixed as recommended it was no better than the cheep stuff at any auto parts store. Mixed stronger it seemed to clean better, but still jelled or froze when it got cold. -20F
I've gone back to doctoring the cheep stuff with isopropyl alcohol and a few drops of simple green.

Winter of 2013-2014 really sucked here in Michigan. My washer jets and tank froze with -20 deg days despite being garaged. Poured some of this into the reservoir and the jets cleared up and sprayed. Kept my windshield clean until the weather warmed up. This is good stuff.

We had not had an oil change since the weather turned cold (really cold). The last washer fluid fill-up was at the dealer in warmer weather, when they were still using the "warm weather mix." Our fluid froze up, so I ordered this and poured half of it in our washer reservoir and took the car to a warmer space and then ran the washer to eliminate the last of the old mix in the washer tubing. From that point on, no problems. Next year I'll do it a month or two before the weather starts turning cold... BTW, as this is written, the 32 oz bottle is just a buck or so more than the 16 oz bottle here on Amazon.

I will not buy this again. Be aware this is a small container, and that after diluting this concentrate to its recommended amount for use to prevent freezing you get very little total volume. So while this product may be great, price wise this comes out to be much more costly than buying the read-to-use generic solutions from a store.

On Amazon's description it says "Guaranteed freeze protection to -60 degree Fahrenheit" but when I got the bottle it says "Guaranteed freeze protection to -25 degree Fahrenheit". This is not what I was looking to buy. I needed stuff for extreme cold around -40F and thought this would work but its not like the description says. You can enlarge the picture on amazon and you'll see that even in the pic it says just -25F. Theres also all these regulations on the back of the bottle listed so in many places its illegal to put a higher concentrate in and it will only protect to -13F

It has to be mixed 16 ounces to 20 ounces of water to get minus temperatures quality. So 1 gallon of water takes 3 bottles or roughly $8.50 per gallon to make washer fluid. minus 25 at the store already made is 2.99. Not worth the price.

My bottle didn't even come full!!! That's the worst part of it all. They advertise 32oz....they filled mine up 29oz.

I have tested this product at 10 parts water to 1 part Heet, as windshield washer fluid. (Similar to the 46/4 ratio on the bottle.) It's good to 21 F. This will work for most moderate climates. The chart on the bottle seems accurate, but is very confusing. This stuff is inexpensive and environmentally friendly. Can't beat that.
