the slide is the only thing i dont like about the bed, the quality is top notch though!! the slide is too steep and has a raised edge at teh bottom which hurts the kids and the toys hit while going down and chips wood off. the actual frame and curtains though are amazing, even without the curtains these will serve me a long time! very solid.

Got this for my almost three year old daughter for her princess themed room that I painted. I was worried about it at first being so young. Afraid she might fall out of bed. But after looking at loft beds for a couple months this one looked by the photos to have the highest rails so we ordered it.

It came quickly and stayed in the garage for three to four weeks until I finished painting the murals on her walls. Outter packaging seemed good. Then the day came to build it. My daughter stayed at grandma's and my nearly four year old son and i started the project. He likes to build... Started by unpacking it and I must say I was very impressed with the packaging. It was in two long large boxes and then within those boxes each different section was in another box. Great packaging (shipped from Quality Bunk Beds).

The build would have went quicker if it was just me or me and another adult but I would not have had the enjoyment of my sons satisfaction that he was helping mommy. Long build story short it took us four hours or so to build, son helping for the first couple and me wrapping it up. The build went very smooth up until the last step and then I had a minor issue. The final step being the tower. Because the tower is not part of every bed there are no piolet holes. Everywhere else that there were no piolet holes I had no issues so I figured it would be the same with the tower but I was wrong. I got three screws in almost all the way down and when trying to finish one the head snapped off and I was left with a sharp end of the screw exposed plus I cold not mount the tower properly unless I could get it backed out. Bought this for my 4 year daughter that plays princesses all day every day. She absolutely adores this bed as does every one of her friends and cousins. It is made so well, it will be around for a long time. The only issue we had was that the curtains that hang from the bottom of the bed pulled off easily and once the sticky tabs hit the floor they no longer would stick back to the bed. This problem was easily solve by my husband using a staple gun to reinstall it. Hasn't moved since.

We bought this bed for our 4 year old and she really loves this bed. Our our only complaint is that at the end of the slide there is a wooden lip and it can hurt your feet when sliding down if you don't lift up your feet. So, she has to adjust herself when sliding down and sometimes just chooses not to go down the slide because of the discomfort....and since the slide was a major reason for buying the bed...that's kind of a bummer.

This bed is very well made with solid hardware and pretty thick wooden legs (we have looked at lots of other affordable wood beds and this is definitely among the sturdiest we could find). The curtains are really cute, the fabric is cotton, not the regular plastic feeling stuff. For the price, this is a great deal. Needless to say my little girl absolutely loves this bed!

Solid piece of furniture, I concur with another reviewer, the bump at the end of the slide can/does hurt. Your child will need to lift their feet slightly before landing on the floor.

This bed has been awesome. It's made well. The ladder has wide steps so it's easy for my little one to climb and doesn't hurt her feet. The tent is made out of sturdy thick cloth. The lower portion of the tent didn't stay on too well. But was easily fixed with new Velcro tape. The slide is very fast and we don't use it anymore. My little girl really loves this bed.
