Not only does this tampon work great the packaging is just ingenious. Its so easy to open and works just as advertised, even my teenage daughter loved them. The braided string works on small leaks too which I was skeptical of at first. They are also very comfortable to use. I would never have thought I would ever write a review on tampons before but I have to say it was the packaging that won me over with these and they do work great too.

TAMPAX RADIANT PLASTIC REGULAR ABSORBENCY UNSCENTED TAMPONS

Now that I am a senior lady I thankfully passed this box along to my young daughter. She loves these tampons -- to quote Kim, "How can you go wrong with Tampax brand?" She's right --

Tampax does nothing but improve on their product. Here are the features of these nice little handy tampons that I wish would have been around when I needed them --

LeakGuard - This feature stops leaks before they happen for a maximum of eight hours and even through your night's sleep.

CleanGrip - The applicator is designed for easy insertion and comfort while doing so.

LeakGuard Braid - What a special and necessary feature -- catches and stops leaks before they can happen and cause a messy embarrassment.

They are also form fitted and expand to fit each individual's unique shape. The wrapper they come in is also resealable for easy and quick disposal of used tampons.

What will they think of next? Kim is a teacher and doesn't get much of an opportunity to run to the bathroom while class is in session -- even if she HAS to. That's why so far she has loved this product. She feels secure, safe, and worry free while attending to her class routines and her little first graders needs.

Let's face it ladies, Mother Nature isn't always your best buddy. However, these Tampax Radiants help keep Mother Nature in line even when she can be so hard and cruel to you!

Ok, this is embarrassing but here it goes: I have a medium incontinence problem and my doctor recommended using a tampon to put pressure where it counts to prevent leaks. Tampax Radiant super is the only brand I will buy; they are much more comfortable and far cheaper then the newer, product that has come out recently for incontinence control and they work great ! It's a nice alternative in leu of wearing a pad. You may have to try a few sizes to find what works best for you but these have been a blessing for me.

I wasn't sure what made Radiant different from Pearl so I tried Radiant to find out. There aren't many differences between the two but after trying both I'd say that Radiant is better for on-the-go use for work, school, etc. For actual absorbency and comfort, I don't think there is any difference at all.

Pearl tampons come in a little envelope that rips open at tabs, and Radiant tampons come in a re-sealable package that opens with a sticker. I think this is so the packaging doesn't make as much noise to open (more discreet in a public restroom?) and makes it less messy to throw away since you can put the applicator back in the package and seal it up. You can kind of do that with the Pearl ones, if you don't destroy the envelope thing when you open it the first time.

The tampon itself is the same as all other Tampax tampons. The applicator is plastic, like the Pearl, just purple, aside from the no-slip grip part at the base of the applicator. The Pearl is more slim and does not have the grip. Regular Tampax have cardboard applicators. While biodegradable, they hurt like crazy sometimes, so I prefer plastic. I care about the environment but my lady parts don't.

After the birth of my daughter, my periods became much longer and heavier (yay!) so I had to start using these Super Plus absorbency. Unfortunately I either have to double up (You probably know what I mean but for those who don't, I mean 2 tampons at once. It's not safe or recommended but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes...) OR wear the tampon plus a pad! Because these leak. Tampons do not fit my anatomy (Never did, even before having a child) that well and always leak badly, even though I change mine as required.Read more ›

At first I thought I liked the packaging, it was quiet and seemed like it would not get all muddled in my purse, however after using them, the applicator is hard to get back into the package, maybe some people do not bother with that, but I do and it was a pain 9 times out of 10. I doubt I will but these again

I really like the wrappers for these. They're resealable and open very quietly. The applicator and tampon itself are similar to the pearls. The pearls are still my favorite but I like the wrappers for these better.

This review is for the regular absorbency Tampax Radiant tampons. I have always been a pad user for feminine period care products but I decided to give the Tampax Radiant Regular absorbency tampons a try and I chose the correct tampon product for me because these are not too big but these regular tampons absorb quite a bit of liquids which is good for me because I am a moderate to heavy flow type of woman when it comes to my periods. I also really like that these have an easy grip on the applicator so these do not slide out of your hand mid application. It took me several tries to get the tampons in the correct position but I am new to using tampons so that is expected. After a few tries these are really easy to use and apply easily. I love the colors on the packaging of Tampax Radiant tampons and the cute tampon covers and the covers for these tampons are easy to use to dispose of the tampons. I would recommend these Tampax Radiant tampons for those who want an easy to use and apply tampon product and those who are new to using tampons like me.
