Transitioning to new foods:
Transitioning can result in fewer digestive issues and better acceptance of a new pet food.
- Mix both the current food with the new food
- Gradually decrease the amount of the current pet food while increasing the amount of the new pet food
- Continue to do this over a 7-day period
- Pets who are finicky, older or have medical conditions may take 10+ days to fully transition.
Transitioning at key life stage milestones:
- At one year of age, kittens should be transitioned to a Science Diet Adult cat food.
- At 7 years, cats should be transitioned to a Science Diet Adult 7+ cat food.

For some reason my 14 year old kitty didn't like. He threw up almost immediately after eating. Never done this before. Has eaten Science Diet dry for awhile and tolerates well

We couldn't tell from your post if you did a gradual transition to this wet food. We typically recommend a 7-10 day transition to get cats used to the ingredients and flavors of new foods to help with digestive upset.
