Just what I needed. Had Direct TV in 1 bedroom and having guests for a few days so wanted in both (adjoining) guest rooms. Took the box from an unused TV in a sitting room and used this splitter to run line to the second guest room. Signal is great in both rooms. With the use of the previously unused Direct TV box, no need for the 2 TV's to have to watch the same shows. I purchased (2) 15 foot cables (one for each TV). No loss of signal strength.

I decided to rewire the rg6 cable in my house due to having a strong signal coming from the main line, but a poor signal to my equipment. I needed a 2 way splitter that had a high shielding and preferably a higher transmission rate. This was the only splitter that I could find with both of these, that also had a great build quality. Due to using this splitter along with quads shield cable, I increased the signal speed in my home which increased my internet speed from 30gb/s to 90gb/s.
Only negative comment I have is that this is an add on item, and you have to spend a certain amount of money on amazon before you can purchase it.

Multimedia Over Coaxial Alliance (MoCA) adapters require a splitter that passes frequencies above 1 GHz. This "satellite TV" splitter works great for this application. A slightly lower cost alternative would be a "MoCA" splitter that supports the 5-1675 MHz frequency range.

It worked for self install on Time Warner cable modem. For best performance, make sure cable length from the splitter to the two outputs is the same - i.e. get two 6ft, 25ft, 15ft etc cables but don't mix match.
