I am not at all disappointed in this order, it's a great product, and my son loves eating this food. I just want to clarify something with this review. This is a case of 12 (6 oz.) jars of food, 4 jars of each of the 3 flavors indicated. However, there is one line in the item description that reads "Pack of eight, 6-ounces per jar (total of 48 ounces)." In reality, I got 12 x 6 oz. jars, or 72 oz. total. Just want to clear this up for anyone how might be a little confused by the conflicting information.

To be clear, I LOVE this brand of food and these 3 flavors. However, the last 2 months i've received 8 jars of good food (apple cinnamon oatmeal, and veggie beef pilaf) and 4 jars of extremely runny and clearly defective chicken and stars. I've ordered this variety pack a few times prior and never had a problem, and bought jars of this flavor at the store without any issues. Something's not right with the recent batches, will not be ordering again...

All three of my children have loved this collection of Earth's Best assorts.

The size is just right for a 9-12 month old. Kids older than that may want a bit more, depending on whether you have a big or light eater. My youngest still likes this as a good meal portion at 15 months. But, he's my smallest. The stars tend to clump together in the chicken and stars one, so make sure your child is a "chewer" before starting them on this collection.

What I really like about Earth's Best in general is that the meals are "meals." The ingredients look like something I would eat, if it wasn't pureed into gloop. So many options out there are so overly simple "meat and potato." I like turning over the Earth's Best label and reading ingredients like rosemary and garlic. My kids like it too, because they gobble this stuff up.

To that comment, my only dissapointment in this collection is the the oatmeal one. I hate paying $1 a bottle (depending on the price they have, it's always fluctuating) for something I can make in about half a second for pennies (we've always got Quaker Oats in our cupboard). I wish there were a different product in it's place, a "meal" that actually required cooking.

All in all, this is a super convenient set for when you need a quick meal for baby.

The little one is happy with these (yay, she likes vegetables!). They're labelled as sides, but the vegetables and pasta can really be a vegetarian dinner and we'll sometimes do some of the veggie ones with some multi-grain cereal as a lunch. The issue the other review reported has been resolved- these are shown as Stage 3.

My infant loved the green veggies from Earth's Best and even now at age two, she still eats a jar of Earth's Best zucchini or green beans by using it as a dip with whole-wheat crackers or veggie chips. (I know, she's a little weirdo.) I feel silly buying baby food when she's 2, but hey, green veggies. If she doesn't quite finish a whole jar, I just toss the last little bit into our soup or spaghetti sauce or enchiladas or whatever and my veggie-HATING husband has never noticed. (The orange jars, sweet potato and carrot, are excellent in baked goods like pumpkin bread or muffins, and so are the fruits.)

We started her on the Earth's Best first fruits and veggies sampler packs when she was interested in foods around age 5 or 6 months and after that, she was never very fond of Gerber or Beechnut brands.

The amazon price is about half the price per jar at our local grocery store and this comes to my door. I love it.

HIGHLY recommend.

Earth's Best also has a loyalty program on their website, where you can get rewards and coupons. You just type in the UPC.

Excellent product = organic, great quality, unique and tasty combos.
Great packaging at an awesome convenience and competitive price.

It is not something we rely on, but rather a travel or to-go snack item. It is a much better option than McDs or luncheon meat/processed meat for food on the go.

Review specifically for CHICKEN & STARS:
It is all personal preference and toddlers are of course notoriously fickle and picky, but our baby girl has loved this flavor since she was one and she is going on 4. We have tried many other brands and flavors (Gerber, Plum, etc.) and this is her go-to savory combo. She has graduated to 2 jars at a time now.

PACKAGING
The packaging has really improved. They used to just have the bottles sitting side by side on a cardboard tray with bubble-wrap all around. Instead they have the bottles sitting in an impressively designed and sturdy cardboard box.

Amazon price is very competitive and availability is sometimes an issue for us. All in all, we are very happy with the service and product!

The Chicken and Pasta and Oatmeal Apple and Cinnamon are great flavors that my babies enjoy. However the consistently of the Beef Pilaf is extremely dry to the point that they gag on it and spit it out. I have to mix it with a stage two baby food to make it edible for them.

I generally like the Earth's Best Stage 3 jarred foods but I hated this version (Vegetable Chicken Soup) because it was extremely liquidy and not what you would think of Stage 3 food at all. In fact, I doubt it's suitable at any stage since it's consistency was near water.
