Works perfectly with my Kicker CX1200.1 Amp. Great if you want to be able to adjust the Amp level from the front seat. Only draw back is the mounting. The design limits on where you can mount this. It is a under mount design as you can see in the picture. And in the back the wire sticks out quite a bit. So be aware of where you might want to mount this before buying. But other then that I love it.

I got this professionally installed under my dash and man I would never want a system without one again. It is perfect because of the wide variety of music I listen to sometimes doesn't bide well with bass. With rap I like to max it out but with rock or trance it can become more annoying and simply sounds better as an accent more than a signature sound. It is good way for you to have control over the power of your own system. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to buy it.

Works as advertised. Wire was plenty long enough to run in my Xterra from under the steering column, through the head unit space, through the center console and out the side to under the passenger seat with feet to spare. Would likely have made it to the rear trunk space area if needed.

A little expensive for what it is, which basically is a kicker branded potentiometer and some cable.

The turning action is little indents so it more or less clicks/snaps to the next level, of which there are about 40 of. Personally, I would have preferred a smooth action, but its just a matter of taste and does not affect functionality.

The only real bad thing I did not like was the mounting. The screw holes are not looped, so any jarring action like for example if you are turning the knob and hit a bump, it could easily come out. I remedied this with a spot of double sided 3M tape, but it could have been better served with screw holes instead.

Product as described, Kicker quality. Controls the bass very well and the knob is not loose, as you turn it up its smooth and the bass increases steadily with the turning. I could not however, make the bass knob stick to the car with simply double sided tape, I had to use two screws. I used the 3M brand tape, but it just would not hold, but that doesnt bother me.

Really easy to install. It's just a really long 3.5mm cable that connects to the remote bass input on your amp into the back of this knob. There's two screw holes at the top for mounting.

My favorite part about this is the resistance of the knob. When you turn it, it's not like a normal volume knob that takes little effort. It's a little harder to turn and you can feel each and every little turn.

Nice little gain control to adjust the bass level for different types of music on our boat. I mounted it under the dash, inset a bit to avoid potentially damaged it or my knee when getting in and out of the driver seat.

Not satisfied with this item. It made the volume lower not louder. Once I unplugged it the volume got very loud, a volume that could not be achieved with this control knob. Maybe it's faulty I don't know but it's not installed now. Waste of money
