These votive holders are great. I was looking for something to use to make "mini-gifts" for friends for Christmas. These are nice, thick, frosted glass. When I drop a Yankee Candle votive in, it just barely pokes out above the top edge of the holder. If you're looking for a holder that completely hides the candle, these holders would probably work well with tea lights as well. This set of 12 was also very carefully packaged by the seller, so that they arrived at my home very safely. I'm very pleased with these, and I may even buy more other than the square ones for future "mini-gifts."

I was a little concerned by the reviews I read that the product would arrive broken. I guess the manufacturer/seller was reading the reviews, because the packaging was excellent. The holders were in a box with dividers and the whole box was bubble wrapped. As for the product itself, like my title, it is exactly what I was looking for. Inexpensive, clear, study holders (that can stand up to heat) that my Yankee Candle voltives would fit in to. I am extremely pleased.

I bought these holder to use with votive candles when the power goes out. They look really nice and match the size of the candles I got (set of 144 10-hour votive candles, here on Amazon). They allow the candles to burn cleanly, so there's almost nothing left when the candle goes out, allow enough light through, and protect the flame from drafts.

These votives are NOT purple and they are not as dark as the picture shows. They are actually pink and are completely transparent. They don't match the room I was decorating at all. I will post photos. If they would have been the right color and a little less transparent they would have been the perfect fit.

One thing I hadn't figured on: these are clear glass that's coated in blue. So the outsides are sort of plastic-y, and also, the coating may scratch off after a time. I was thinking I might also use them for rooting plant cuttings, but that would be a poor use, since I wouldn't be able to scrub the glass at all to clean them.

The blue in the photos represents the actual product well. No complaints there.

I will be using them to hold little things in the bathroom, such as a bunch of barrettes or a bunch of cotton swabs. I suspect I will also use some in the kitchen to catch things like loose change.

(Mine also were not packed well by Amazon, and was one broken in shipment. This was quickly resolved by Amazon's excellent customer service.)

I was looking for some accent votive candle holders for a Halloween table. Finding votive holders is relatively simple but finding PURPLE holders is a little tricky! I was a little leery of what they deemed "purple." I didn't want lilac but I didn't want to be stuck with a color that looked more black than purple. These are perfect! They are a true purple and the glass is smooth and clear. I didn't exactly want a dozen but I am so glad I got them now. The price was great too. They will come in handy. Want to look for more colors in these votive holders. Great find!

These votive glasses are nice for the price. They do need to be wiped off when you receive them. They're dusty, perhaps from the "frost" finish. And I docked a star for bad packing practices. See attached photo. You'll see that there is no cardboard separating a few of the glass votive holders. This happened in 2 out of the 6 boxes I ordered. Luckily none of mine arrived broken. Also 1 of the 6 boxes was not wrapped in bubble wrap like the rest.
