This product is not solid glow in the dark paint as might be implied. It is more like sediments of glow in the dark material in acrylic glue-like paint. This might be okay if the density of the sediment is high, but it isn't. It is actually quite low even when the substance is mixed. I could never produce a solid line of material with several coatings on paint. It would wind up looking like a bunch of sand suspended in paint under UV light. Eventually the paint gets thick too so there are only so many coatings you can use.
This is an okay product if you are just looking for some fun, or just like glow in the dark and am not looking for something exacting.
This is no where as bright as glow in the dark tape that I bought elsewhere, and I would describe the glow as "average".
But, you kind of get what you pay for. Be warned, it is cheap.
If you want something more quality looking, then get glow in the dark tape, or do your research and don't get burned like I did.

The negative reviews for this product are deceptive all glow in the dark products are essentially the same with slightly different ingredients for the glow material most are a strontium aluminate base red colors are a zinc base but all of the glow material is a grainy powder I'm not sure if it could be ground finer to reduce the grainy texture but that will always be there.

now to charge the substance you must deliver a intense uv source to the product and the exposed bits will get excited and throw off electrons as photons this is what we see as light. Blue colored and for that matter purple are the most difficult to charge given the proximity to uv light they do not readily absorb it as well as green. This is why green charges better and glows brighter longer.

i would have liked to see this a bit closer to clear but it is basic white latex paint with blue glow powder mixed into it.

barely glows..do not buy its not worth it. I bought purple one and that on doesnt not glow at all! green one is better , that one i could recommend but still too expensive for what it is.

Great stuff.
This product arrived very quickly, and works better than I expected.
Glow is long lasting, very bright, and my star mural came out amazing.
The coolest part is that this stuff is almost invisible in daylight or even with the lights on, so much so, that I even splattered my wall tapestry, my blue walls, and my drapes. You honestly can't even tell it's there (I made a huge mess of the project and got it all over my khaki pants, can't even tell it's there after washing it, and my pants still glow where this stuff splattered on it). Anyway, my room is covered in this stuff and you wouldn't even know it until I turned the lights off, then it feels like you're floating in space.
Great product, highly recommend.

I have used Glow Inc's paints before, the v10 ultra green and the ultra blue, and have had nothing but accolades to pour from both. Although the product IS a bit pricey, if you join the company's social networks they offer great coupons and discounts often that can be applied here or on their main site. This was my 1st time purchasing Pure Blue, the company's transparency via their product description detailing how the intensity of the hues will vary depending on the shade chosen prepared me for the lack of glow. Having using purple and blue glow paints in the past, I have yet to find any paint in those shades that glow intensely or last for more than a few hours, but glow's Pure Blue, though NOT amazingly bright, DID have an afterglow for about 5hours, the longest I've had in this shade hands down.
Also, I originally bought this to repurpose my fav pair of sandals that are one their final legs and not only did it do the trick and draw compliments, but many trips to the beach and camping events later (although some chipping has occurred through wear) it STILL has kept it's glow! I used the remainder of the paint on my outdoor tiki torch posts, by time I got to the rest, the product had become grainer than at it's 1st opening, as to be expected, so I added a drop of thinner and it became liquid and smooth once more (as smooth as metal indulged-flakes can be).
All-in-all I am happy! I wouldn't recommend using any shade other than Ultra Green v10 or Ultra Blue if you'd like a true, long-lasting glow for any project, but if a dull ambient glow is what you're seeking to emphasize a project, this does the trick! :)

I used this with Ultra Blue to paint a star ceiling. About half the stars are Ultra Blue. For smaller stars the Pure Blue is hard to tell from the ultra blue after a few minutes. However layered with the ultra blue on a nebula it looks really cool. I wish I had ordered the half ounce instead of the two ounce container. I am applying stars with the syringe technique.

Please be aware that you are only getting 1/2 oz jar but the picture here clearly states 2 ounces. There's isn't enough paint in 1/2 oz pot to paint anything with enough coats to actually glow.
