I bought these for my African Grey after reading another review of how much parrots loved them. I hung them in her cage and even gave one to my cat. Neither my bird or my cat seem to like them or show even the slightest interest in them whatsoever. They are really cute and seem to be fairly well crafted, so I don't think it is fair to totally ding the manufacturer for the opinion of an animal, but my pets just didn't care for them.

My African Grey loves theses sneakers. I hide them in things in her cage and she has fun finding them and chewing on them. These are a great, inexpensive toy for birds. You can also use them to make hanging toys with, too.

I have purchased these previously from a different vendor and was surprised to see these when they arrived, as they arrived with grommets. I have not given these to my parrots, and will not ever. These have a huge choking hazard with every grommet on the shoe.

The ones previously purchased, from another vendor, without grommets are incredible and my parrots will play with for hours, until they are nothing. I stick all kinds of pine nuts, dried papaya, dried pineapple, all kinds of foraging items in, but sadly not with these.

My bird likes this item. Unfortunately they only last 2 days before she shreds the sneaker. I think they should be larger. Also I believe they are too expensive for what you get.
