I just blew through the 400 ct bag and am now into this 1000 ct bag. Btw, the seller "Work At Home Doctor Mom" continues to have the best bottom line pricing for BioPure chlorella products.

BioPure makes quality supplements based on the protocols of Dr Dietrich Klinghardt and they offer 100% Organic chlorella in both C. vulgaris and C. pyrenoidosa species. Even with cracked cells walls, C. pyrenoidosa can be harder to digest than C. vulgaris. But in spite of that, I decided to try this C. pyrenoidosa first and if it doesn't work for my heavy metals, then will switch to C. vulgaris. So far so good and I LOVE the small size of the tabs, which make them so easy to swallow. I also have not noticed any digestive side effects, which is a miracle for me.

With many open minded docs who know about chlorella, this is considered one the purest high grade products as it is grown in man-made fresh water ponds thus free of contamination. What I also like is the fact that the cell walls on BioPure chlorella are cracked using sound waves which is less damaging to the cell "innards". The BioPure website describes it best:

"BioPure Chlorella is 100% Certified Organic, and grown in man-made fresh water ponds. This guarantees a controlled environment that we can be sure is pure and free of contaminants or pollutants. My naturopath put me on this while I breastfeed my little one. This product is suppose to help better filter out my system of all that gunk that I get exposed to on a daily basis. I personally think it works since she doesn't get diaper rashes and has always slept very well at time (she sleeps 9-10 hours straight).

The best Chlorella ever! This is the super food that everyone should add to their diet. I have been taking this since 2011 and I'm still loving it. Some actually has lead in it so be careful when you go for the cheaper brand.

It's difficult to rate the effectiveness of this particular brand but I can say it's recommended and sold by my MD office but I found it cheaper on Amazon. The tablets are small and easy to swallow with no bitter taste

3 wks ago, I took this product for about 4-5 days. All of a sudden over a 24-36 hr. period, I developed severe throwing up & diarrhea from this. I past out once from probably due to electrolyte loss. I was bed ridden for about 5 days. I immediately stopped taking this product. Just yesterday, 5/7/2014, I decided to try it again. I only took 6 tablets. Within 1 hr. I started to violently throwup & diarrhea started. This lasted for about 3 hrs. & I had to go to bed for the night. I am wondering if there is bacteria in this product causing this. As I experienced the exact same reaction as the first time. The first event, I thought it was a stomach virus.
