There is nothing that even comes close to this headset! I've tried many that claim to be the best but they DO NOT COMPARE! This package deal is a great value and I haven't seen it sold like this at even close to this price. I just had a warranty issue that was less than a year old on one of these head sets (I own three). I mailed it in and had a replacement at no cost but the shipping back to the factory in just 10 days. So it's good to know they have great customer service also! Must Buy! and again don't waste your time thinking you'll find something better, you won't. I love the features this things has, check those out closely.

Bose Bluetooth Series 2 vs. Sennheiser Presence UC ML vs. Plantronics Voyager Edge vs. Plantronics Voyager Legend UC

I began this review after Bose decided to cease production on their Series 2 Bluetooth. Previous to this review I had been super pleased with the Bose, only complaints were the short battery life (started around 4 hours, and degraded to about 2 hours after a year) and the construction of the item began to falter after about 2 years.
Highlights:
Plantronics Legend- Comes with a ton of accessories. Comes with a charging case that doubles as a recharger (too big for your pocket though). Tells the battery life with each use. Versatile fit. Boom microphone should also help voice clarity. Charging stands for desk. Auto answers calls, voice recognition. Solidly Built. Only over the ear Bluetooth I tested. Was very clear, good volume.

Plantronics Edge- Well priced for the quality. Also has a charging case that doubles as a backup if you run out of juice. This case uses micro USB. Lightweight. The least noticeable on your ear of the four.

Bose- Very small. Very high sound quality. The on/off button is a little flimsy and I have replaces one unit after about 1-2 years.

Sennheiser- The boom mike slides in and out to turn on and off. For people that like to turn their devices on and off, this is super easy to use and intuitive. Nice heavy-duty metal feel. Great packaging.

Cost:
1. Plantronics Edge- $50-$60
2. Plantronics Legend- $135
3. Sennheiser UC- $150
4. Bose- Sold out- $200+ in aftermarket

Case:
1.) Both Plantronics cases also hold a charge, which is nice in a bind (be aware that the Edge case will not accommodate the Edge unit if it has the earpiece bar assembled.

Works well, love the carrying case that charges the headset. I will say, though, that I preferred the fit of the Voyager Pro Plus. There's not a lot of difference, but the shape of the earpiece on this headset is a tiny bit different, and tilted. It's not bad, just not as comfortable for me. YMMV.

Love it! The headset is perfect for soft phone/VOIP and mobile phone integration. AND the charging flexibility of this package is perfect. You can charge with the case, with a cradle, or with USB cord and with wall plug. Setup was a snap. I literally forget that I have it on during the day (and I wear glasses.)

Range from computer is somewhat limited, though - only about 20 feet before the speaker begins to break up and about 10 more before the microphone fades. this is definitely the best headset that I've found in this price range. I'd give it 5 stars, were if the range was better.

Worked great for a few months. Sound quality is excellent and I like the ability to mute from the headset directly. It is very comfortable on the ear. In addition, it worked will with the voice command system of my phone. However, about 5 months after getting it, it started to drop connection with my phone. Now, for every call, it drops connection immediately after the phone call connects. I can manually switch it back, but it still drops occasionally even after this. I have also notice that now the system does not always communicate with me when I start it up. It also is difficult to get back into pairing mode (repairing was Plantronics suggestion). So I know that the system is failing and it is not my phone.

I now these don't last for ever, but I was hoping for more than 5 months. I have a Blackberry Passport phone.
