Let me start off by saying that I am not a novice and have been drilling sea glass for years and have used TONS of different drill bit styles, lengths and shapes. Two out of the 20 will actually work for sea glass and the others either broke, left a huge hole or they just did not drill. I usually get 75-100 pieces of sea glass out of a drill bit and with these I got about 50 pieces with 10 drill bits.

If there was a "no star" option I'd pick it. In a word, these are junk!!!! Went to use them yesterday for the first time and NOT ONE OF THEM WORKED! I'm not a "newbie" at drilling glass, stone, metal etc. and as an artist/craftsman have used diamond drills for 30 years and these are by far the worst I've ever used. The "Diamond Point" has no point - these "walked" all over the piece I was drilling and never grabbed at any speed, with and without drill coolant. Not in any of the drill hand pieces I have and I have several. Wish I'd tried them before the 30 days on Amazon cause now I just got ripped off!

These bits work fine for drilling through semi-precious stones (turquoise, jasper, quartz, etc.), but be advised the sizing is questionable. I found that what I received are actually 5 each of 1mm, 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm bits. So- there are no bits measuring 1.5mm. These bits were delivered in (1) plastic bag so maybe when they were pulled out of stock there was an error. When I used what I assumed was a 1.5mm bit from the package (the 2nd smallest one), it made a hole that was too large for my intended work.
Update: I contacted the seller and got an immediate response that they would send 1.5mm drill bits. Based on their excellent follow-up I raised my review to 5 stars.

Hint, if using for rocks/ceramic keep the bit under water barely, just the tip and clean the bit every few minutes.
