I used this with my 3 small dogs. It eradicated their dog breath within a couple of months. I like that the active ingredient is an enzyme and not a noxious chemical, like the ones in most other brands. I also expect that it will extend the time between cleanings, as the vet said my chi, who usually has pretty dirty teeth, didn't need an other cleaning right away, two years after the last one! I've also recently learned that, when dogs come out of anesthesia, they thrash around, and can get very hurt (vets don't tell you that). Which explains why one of my dogs had a back injury once, after her cleaning....I assumed at the time that it was due to their having placed her incorrectly on her back for the procedure. At any rate, it is dangerous for them and I'd like to avoid it, if possible.
