We paid almost $80 and expected an official Canon cartridge, new and unused.

However, we received a FAKE and RE-MANUFACTURED cartridge.

This was my first purchase of Canon cartridge toner from Amazon. I've been an Amazon customer for many years and thought I would compare their price with that on the Canon web site. Amazon topped out and since I use Amazon Prime, the toners were at my door 2 days later without shipping charges. If you are looking to save money on toner, go to Amazon. These are original, not re-manufactured cartridges and will not void your printer warranty. It's a win-win situation.

This toner ran out insanely fast. My previous toners have always lasted around 7 months and this one was empty in 1 month and I haven't increased the usage of the printer at all. It says it's "genuine" but I don't think it is. I've never had a canon toner purchased from a retail store run out that quickly or even close. Extremely disappointed, DON'T BUY!
