I was at the pet store and I saw this beautiful grayish fish. His butt looked a little small but he was a different type of betta I usually buy so I figured that was the way he was supposed to look. Well after getting home I put him in his new home and he was acting lethargic. So I googled about bettas and I learned the poor fish had fin rot and some fungus. So I immediately went on Amazon and bought this product along with a water conditioner. It was delivered on time and I put some in his water. Literally the next day he's swimming around all happy and exploring. It's now two weeks later and the black rot has disappeared off his butt fin and has grown about half an inch. Turns out my fish isn't grey after all but he's really a baby blue and red. He's beautiful he was just really sick and the pet store wasn't taking good care of him at all. I own two other bettas so this will come in handy any time they get sick. I definitely recommend this product

I used it to help my betta with some mild fin rot. Changing the water and cleaning the tank wasn't doing it for this fish, so medicating him with some bettafix perked him right up and got rid of the fin rot. I let a friend borrow it for her betta. He had previously been very listless and shy (all since she acquired him months before) and he wasn't dealing with fin rot, but some discoloration and I think fungus... After medicating him with bettafix he was a completely different fish: attentive, energetic, and colorful. And this was only after a week's use! I would recommend this product, but do your research first to be the best towards your betta fish.

Of course your first choice should always be to help your betta naturally if possible, by changing the water, making sure it's clean, don't let food rot, etc. My betta had bad fin rot out of no where and was barely moving, I mean barely he was at the bottom of the tank all day and winged eat or me unless I picked up the tank and moved it a little. It got to the point where he would sit there upside down (head in the rocks) so I have in and decided to order. Needless to say I'm very happy with this product, after two doses he was swimming around again like his normal self!!

My betta fish had been sickly with shredded looking fins. He just sat at the bottom of the bowl and wouldn't move. Changed the water more frequently but nothing helped. Saw the mostly positive reviews on this product so we took a chance and tried it. We followed the instructions on the bottle perfectly. We noticed the medication had a strong odor. We read the instructions again and were convinced we had the right water to med ratio. Unfortunately within a couple hours of using this product our fish died. Maybe it was a coincidence but I don't think so.

I bought this for my betta after I saw that he had a bit of fin rot and after a few days I didn't notice any difference in his fins so I looked up the product online to double check the dosage. I found that a lot of sites warned about this product, many bettas have gotten very sick and died from it. Apparently the dosage on the bottle is way too high. Also I learned that this product doesn't actually treat fin rot or other sicknesses, it just helps fins grow back faster once the sickness is actually gone. If you're thinking of ordering this product, do your research first. I'm lucky my betta survived; I ended up treating his fin rot with aquarium salt and that worked great.
