My original trepidation with buying this bag was due to the fact that I thought the quality would be sub-par because it is cheaper than a lot of its competitors. After two months of using this bag everyday, there has not been a single rip, break, or let down. I frequently carry my laptop (a thin 15" Retina MacBook Pro), a notebook, a few folders, and a novel in the main pockets. In the small front pocket I carry pens, wallet, keys, and headphones. With all of these things in it, it is more or less at maximum capacity. If you are confident that this will be enough space for your needs, I would highly recommend what has turned out to be a great quality bag for the price.

Love this bag, but beware that you will not be able to fit anything more than the absolute bare minimum in here. At least not without looking like a squirrel packing up for winter. :) In addition to my laptop, I carry my iPad OR my keyboard, a mouse and the power adapter for my laptop. I can stuff a cable and my glasses in the front pocket, but that's about it.

This is a great bag if you want to carry around a laptop and a tablet. I can fit my 15" MacBook Pro, iPad, laptop charger and several other items, including my iPhone if I didn't have it on me. It also has a back pocket I can put papers in a file folder and slide it in. Overall a great small case for quick on the go transport of your devices. Nothing overboard, just small and simple and good protection and padding.

This bag is such a disappointment. I looked high and low for a bag with these features and was thrilled when I found this one. I ordered immediately.

The good:
The bag itself has decent sized compartments, soft interior, and organizational small pockets.
The rear luggage strap is great for travel.
The strap is easy to adjust.

The bad:
The material--this is the most uncomfortable material I've ever seen on a bag. It's like polyester and velcro got drunk one night and this was their unexpected consequence. Dear God, there are not words for how awful this material is. The color is more or less true to the image. But nothing can prepare you for how you'll shrink away from getting this thing anywhere near your skin.
The closing mechanism--I never close my bags, so this isn't a huge issue for me. But the buckles are plastic, cheaply made, and hard to connect.
The shoulder pad--these are key on heavy bags, and this one fails the test. It moves around the strap way too easily, and when you are wearing a tank top and that thing is touching your skin...you have nightmares about that polyester and velcro mistake. It never stays where it should, and inevitably, I found myself having to stop in the middle of an airport and adjust it.
The size--it looks big enough, and when you get it, it appears to be roomy. It's not. There's no gusset on the sides that expands, so you can only put flat, narrow things inside. While I have Mac products, so they fit easily inside most bags, even I was challenged. .For those with big power packs on their charging cords, this will not work. And forget trying to take your iPad AND a book with your laptop. This is way too narrow.

I am so disappointed with this bag. If I hadn't needed it for travel, I would have returned it.

I've been using this bag for about nine months now and I love it jut as much as the day I bought it. I'm not a big person and I don't tend to want to carry a lot with me so the fact that this bag is slim without a lot of bulky pockets was a big bonus for me. That's not to say it doesn't have pockets aplenty, though. On the days I need to carry more, I'm abel to stuff the front zipper pocket and the back pouch and still find it comfortable to carry.

The full-length pouch on the front is a great, secure carryall location for all the odd shaped items. There's also a full-length pouch on the back where you could fit something slim like a folder or one bulky item (like an umbrella). Inside there are 2 padded pouches (laptop and tablet sized) and a zipper pocket. The zipper pocket has places for pens, a few small pockets, and even a key hook.

I really only have two complaints about this bag and I love it so much I won't take stars off for it. First is that the shoulder pad doesn't hug the strap very tightly so the strap tends to twist around and need straightening. Secondly, the lever mechanism used to hold the strap at the right length is easy to flip loose and then you're walking around with a bag banging into your knees and you can't figure out why until you think to check the strap.

I'm very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an every day commuter bag who doesn't feel they need to lug all their personal possessions with them every where they go.
