I don't know why I do this to myself. I find in general knitters pride needles have quality issues. I see all the reviewers raving about their needles and really made me want to try it out. I wish I didn't. One of the needle the tip is not flush with the needle so yarn gets caught there every time. Since it's only in one side it's super annoying. I should have learned from my last knit picks needles where the wood was so rough it gave me a splinter. Anyway, it might be cheap but the quality is terrible.

I love to try different brands of knitting needles and have done a comparison of some of them recently on my blog.
Knitter's Pride Karbonz are my current favorite needle.
I tried Karbonz out at the same time that I was gifted with som Signature Needle Arts needles - which are very, very, nice and have the best stiletto tip ever! They are very, very expensive though.

Karbonz are, imho, the best of all worlds. Karbonz are reasonably priced (comparable to Addi Turbo's which had been my staple circulars for years), have a wonderful, flexible cable and tips that are neither too rounded nor too pointy.
The carbon fiber makes for a "warm to hold", lightweight knitting needle that is kind to your hand and wrist - lessens the fatigue of long stretches of knitting time for me.

Of course I had to add some more sizes to my needles stash - Knitter's Pride Karbonz are my new 'go to' knitting needles .... I do like the Signature brand a lot, but the price point, even if money was no object for me (which is not the case!) seems more like I should be wearing jewelry than knitting!

Try Karbonz - I bet you will them!
PS: I did not buy these needles from this seller - but rather from a yarn store so I cannot comment on the seller or the price offered here.

I have osteoarthritis very bacpd throughout my body, all others and I mean all I bought and tried, I was about to give up my favorite hobby until I tried a pair of these. I didn't buy the whole set as size 6 is the lowest I go with my knitting needles. I ordered an 8 and now a 10! LOVE THEM, THEH GLIDE ALONG SO I CAN KEEP MY HOB Y GOING. AND LOTS OF CHARITY WORK.These are excellent knitting needles, have way too many sets so buy these indivually!

I like the feel of these needles, but there is a problem with them when I am using very fine yarn. The connections between the tip and the cord are not smooth and catch the yarn, sometimes tearing them. These needles woule probably be great when used with bulkier yarns.

The tip is wonderfully sharp on this needle, but of course, it should be on such a small tip (2.00mm). Overall, the surface of the carbon fiber feels quite nice in the hand, and the stitches do move smoothly on the needle. I rather like the black, as stitches do show up well. However, there is a design flaw which has moved these Karbonz to the back of my needle inventory, and that is that the area where the cord joins the tip causes the yarn to snag. Well, perhaps 'snag' is a bit strong...what I should say is that the yarn catches on the join, instead of sliding along smoothly.

I have several dozen corded needles of assorted sizes in my inventory, mostly Addis. I really wanted to love these Karbonz, but knitting becomes less pleasurable when one has to continually stop to adjust the yarn. Now of course, if I knit with dpns, the join would be absent, and Karbonz would be perfect!

I am accustomed to using Signature Stilletos and very few needles match those for quality and ease of use. To be fair, I only used these for doing a gauge swatch, along with the 16 inch, for knitting in the round. The join and drag on the needles was okay, but once again I find myself mourning the fact that Signature Stillettos only go down to size 3. Still, for the price, these were not a bad choice.

This was the first time I tried this particular brand of needles so what a pleasant surprise! I always think I have every needle in every length but always seem to not have exactly what I need so turned to trusty Amazon to send me what I need within a few days. The tips glide smoothly, the joins are nice and don't snag the yarn and the feel of the needle is nice too. I have already purchased another pair in a different size and think I will continue building my kit of these if I need anymore needles. Very nice product and would highly recommend. I knit every single day either professionally or personally, sometimes both, so my needles get a great deal of use. These have been great!

Broke first time I used them. The vendor replaced them with great customer service. Haven't used the replacement, so not sure if they are all this way or not. There is a noticeable ridge where the metal tip meets the plastic shaft which causes a fair bit of drag and sometimes makes the sock yarn split. They are pretty annoying to use. Also, if you want to use these needles for magic loop method, the cord is really a bit on the too short side.
