Made From All Solid Wood
All solid wood really does make a difference and we've made sure Masterworks get the best out their solid wood construction. They are very open sounding, powerful instruments with rounded notes and plenty of bass. All models are made from hand selected, AA solid Sitka spruce or Red Cedar tops, and solid, cured mahogany or rosewood backs and sides. Each component is made of natural material including real bone saddles and nuts, maple and rosewood bindings and purflings, ebony bridge pins and green abalone inlays. Masterworks feature a one piece mahogany neck with a 50/50 finish, and 12th Fret abalone inlay. The Masterworks bracing system is forward shifted with scalloped, hand finished X braces that allow these guitars to project incredibly well. There's lots of sustain and response and no matter if strummed or picked, the separation and balance across the strings is easily audible. Masterworks is one of the most impressive and affordable all solid guitar lines available, so now as many players as possible can enjoy the benefits of an all solid wood construction

Acoustic electrics come with the SYS650 designed by B-BAND, an awesome EQ and dual pick up system that allows you to blend between the under saddle and bridge plate pickups. B-BAND’s patented electret film technology creates very true, acoustic reproduction and the system also includes a backlit chromatic digital tuner.
