When I had my first child, I bought one of those fancy temple thermometers that you just point at the child's head and get a reading. I have never gotten an accurate reading from that thing, despite it being one of the most expensive models available. So, of course this made me nervous when one of my children would fall ill and I had no way of knowing how bad their fever really was. Then one day, I ran across these delightful fever fish. They are adhesive stickers that you place on the child's forehead, and they have little circles, which display various temperatures. N is for Normal, and it goes up from there. This makes it so much easier to tell how high a fever my child has, and since they can be used for 24 hours, this allows for easy monitoring, making sure that the fever responds to Tylenol or Motrin, and if it spikes, we are aware of it. Hands down, this product is awesome! I'm very glad to have found them on Amazon and for a great price... the local store I was buying them from is no longer carrying them. Very pleased, and highly recommend!

Why didn't I know about these sooner?! A few weeks ago my son was really sick with a virus. If you've ever tried to take a toddlers temperature you know that it's not always the easiest thing to do. These little fish allowed me to monitor his temperature without waking him up.

These did not ever show the temperature, nothing happened to the circles to indicate any kind of temperature. I tried several fish and none of them worked. I loved the idea and was really disappointed that they didn't work for me.
