We don't have any really expensive knives to compare with, but this is the nicest knife in our kitchen and gets the most use. It really holds an edge well. We liked it enough that we now have two. I just wish Winco would make a non-serrated steak knife in this quality. I'd buy a set in a second.

WInco knives are the absolute best knives that you can purchase for the money. They are heavy, solid stainless steel, and very well weighted. These are German forged and made knives. The edges hold up very well, and stay very sharp for long periods of time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WINCO KNIVES!!

At this price, this knife is a steal. Looks well made, has nice weight and balance. You can't get a knife even close to this for twice the money. I cook every day and I demand good tools for anything I do. I am happy I bought a few of these Winco knives.

I have a lot of knives both expensive and cheap. These for the money are the best you'll find. Yes you can pay more and get better but only a little better. These are really sharp when they arrive and seem to stay sharp nicely. They feel really good in the hand and are well made.
