    I ordered 2 pairs of these gloves, one in Purple and the other in Royal Blue. I was hesitant, since the "illustration" was very nearly useless. The colors were absolutely as described - PURPLE - as in "absolutely PURPLE" - Crayola Crayon PURPLE - very vivid and bright. The Royal Blue was also extremely bright and pretty, and absolutely ROYAL BLUE. The gloves were very stretchy and comfortable - almost having a pleasant "support" feeling to them. (I have arthritis in my hands, and these are almost enjoyable to wear. I think they would make excellent SLEEPING gloves - both if you tend to have cold hands, or if you have swelling and achiness. The vivid colors should slow down other family members from "borrowing" them for outerwear!!!

    I purchased a pair of purple gloves in December 2007 to go with my Joker Halloween costume. These gloves are a perfect fit (no pun intended) for any Joker costume. They are made of a soft material and are actually called "formal dress gloves". They aren't quite a true purple - instead, they are more of a lavender or lilac color. Still, they go good with my costume.

    I highly recommend these costume/formal dress gloves for whatever you dress up as.

    I have no idea whose hands they expected these gloves to fit but they are absolutely HORRIBLE. First off you know the saying "You get what you paid for"? Well that's not even applicable here because I ALSO purchased a pair of 23" red opera gloves for the same price and they are more than I had hoped they would be. The quality of THESE gloves are just total crap. To say that they are too small is an understatement. I tried them on, my boyfriend tried them on, my boyfriend's mother tried them on and they didn't fit any of us. You know who they did fit though? My 6 year old niece. In order for them to fit I ended up having to cut the tips off and using fabric glue to reinforce the holes and giving them to my boyfriend to wear for his costume. Thank god I ordered the other pair as a back up just in case. If I could give them less than a star I definitely would.

    The gloves are nice and new. They fit correctly and if you are looking for bright yellow gloves, then this item is for you. However, the display picture as of this day (05/16/2014), is not correct. The gloves sent were a bright yellow.

    These gloves are cool but a bit funny: the fingers are short. Like, I have really small hands (which is a drag when you want to wear big rings... ) and these gloves don't even cover my entire finger. They are the right size & I can wear them... hot red for Christmas in Boston, you know? But they DO have that funny feature... I could almost call it a defect but I think people with fingers even shorter than mine would think them perfect?

    You get what you pay for. The color is nice, the construction is nice. For a sub-$10 pair of gloves I'm happy with the quality. I am a men's large in gloves and they only fit b/c they are stretchy, if that helps with sizing.
