I purchased 3-rolls of this product for drawer liners in a large roll around tool box. I have more than 6-roll around tool boxes, and I've tried various products for lining the drawers. This stuff works very well, as others have mentioned. It cuts extremely well, normally on the first pass with a razor/X-Acto type knife. It hasn't flattened out completely yet, but I expect it to as it has already done some flattening after just a day or two.

I used a straight edge and a framing square, and the cuts came out extremely well. It's very strong, I cannot tear it with my hands and it's difficult to stretch or deform. Other products I have purchased (here on Amazon) can be easily torn and not as durable. This stuff is very durable. Very satisfied...

I imagine it has many other uses as well, but my experience is limited to tool box drawers.

Still really like this stuff, even more due to the following.

I also ordered, and just received "JEGS Performance Products W88996 Tool Box Drawer Liner". The Ducks brand is stronger, thicker, wider at 20" and also costs less.

The Ducks brand is ~1.56MM thick, and "tackier" to my fell (JEGS is about 1.36MM, and less tacky of a feel). Cannot tear Ducks unless a cut is started. But just trying to tear an uncut piece, I cannot tear it. At Amazon Prime pricing, the Ducks is ~$0.70/sq. ft., the JEGS is ~$1.33/sq. ft.

Not trying to knock JEGS. I have used it without issues, and it works fine. It wasn't until having to line many new drawers I actually closely compared the two.Read more ›

After reading some of the reviews and seeing that there were other people who used this for toolbox liner, I decided to give it a shot. I was specifically looking for solid liner, as opposed to the mesh type toolbox liner, and this seemed to fit the bill (no duck pun intended). It is exactly what i needed. I wanted this for use in old tool box restoration. while both solid and mesh work, I prefer the look of solid liner. Easy to cut, very flexible and plenty of grip.

My only complaint, well, not really a complaint, more of a point of interest, is that it is difficult to get a perfectly straight cut. With mesh liner you can cut right along the mesh and get a straight cut. Freehand cutting is not very accurate (I tried. It didn't work.) Instead, what I did was use a ruler to make a straight line and laid down a line of masking tape and cut along the line. It gives you a very straight line, it just takes some time. Which since I'm doing restoration, the time doesn't really bother me. Just a point of interest to consider when deciding whether this product.

This liner is easy to cut and makes a nice non slip shelf liner. The white color brightens dark areas (such as a pantry) and the surface is easy to clean with a damp sponge. The only negative is that the last 6-8 inches of the roll are unusable because they are permanently creased.

- Antimicrobial protection (good for kitchen)
- Non-adhesive so no tape residue to deal with
- Non-slip, the material is quite sticky so things won't slide on it
- Machine washable (although have yet to try this out)

Cons:
- A bit too sticky, I don't really like the feel of it
- Difficult to cut straight, not really any good visible cutting guidelines

I love this stuff. I have used it to make a nice-looking cover for our wooden coffee table, desk covers for our two wooden desks, and covers for our wooden nightstands. It is incredibly durable, easy to clean, and has withstood years of hard use. I like that fact that we can prevent damage to our wood furniture from dishes, food, or electronic equipment. It seems a bit pricey, but it is totally worth the money for how durable and versatile it is. I haven't as yet used it as a traditional shelf liner, but I'm sure it would be the best at that job, too.

It's very nice mat. Good thickness (about 1/8 inch). Cuts super easy with a utility knife. Very light grip, doesn't stick at all. Unfortunately, it comes so tightly rolled that it doesn't straighten out and lay flat. I've cut a piece for the top of a tool chest, weighted it down over the entire surface for several days now, and it still rises up a little. This isn't something I'm using for a pantry shelf that will be constantly full of cans and jars, so laying flat on its own is important, and this is just too curled from being tightly rolled up for so long. It'll work, and maybe eventually lose the curl completely, but it's annoying enough to knock off a couple stars.
