Excellent box! It is very sturdy (one of the best I've held). Used it for a fancy ice cream cake, so having a window was a must for me. I was concerned that I was paying too much for these, but they are worth it!

UPDATE: After hearing these were sold at Michael's for a fraction of the cost, I went to see for myself. These boxes are NY the same. Those are as thick as poster board, while these are thick like cardboard. Also, those are in one piece, while these are two pieces (top amd bottom are separe). Also, this window is 1" wider. The box sold here on Amazon is on the left; the other on the left.

The box isn't flimsy because its made with corrugated cardboard. Not like those other boxes that will cave in if you hold them from the sides. It's cool too because the tabs slide in and out for easy access to the cake. I like that my creation will be displayed too since not has a window.

These are very sturdy! Much better than the ones I normally buy. I am a home baker so cost wise this is not the most efficient thing for me to buy. I needed a box for a order this weekend and luckily these were PRIME shipped. Now I wish I had ordered more. I love Wilton products and these definitely live up to the standards you expect from their products
The box itself is super quick and easy to assemble and the lid requires no assembly at all. I definitely will buy these again. I wish they came in larger quantities.

Very good boxes. Easy to pack a 12x18 sheet cake and super simple to put together and close. Feels like good quality cardboard and seems to hold up pretty well as long as the bottom is supported of course. I would purchase again, especially since the price is very good.

I was very happy when I received these boxes. I normally buy my boxes at hobby lobby or Michael's, and they are flimsy little cardboard boxes.. I was expecting the same with these.. But they were really nice, and sturdy! I especially like that the lid is separate.

I just needed a cake box with an open lid to transport a cake to a party so I can't get real excited about reviewing this purchase. But I will say the boxes are strong enough to hold a very heavy cake with only one box needed (as opposed to doubling the boxes). Held up well. Nice big "window" to see the cake inside. Good quality item I would definitely buy again.

sturdy enough for the price, to get a sheet cake to an office party. It's handy to use these and be able to leave the cake at the party without having to worry about taking a cake carrier home. Also, I don't make half sheet cakes very often, so I don't want to have to store a huge plastic carrier in my NYC apartment.
