First, all goth persons and wannabe vampires will love this ink, in the pen provided, as it looks like a vial of blood you are writing with. Everyone has to stop and pick it up and ask about it.
This is a fire engine red and sits very nicely on the paper. I'm not good at describing colors so I will leave that to the professionals here. It is not a bright red, but a darker kind of red...that's about it for my description.
It is NOT waterproof. It began sprinkling on one page and the ink immediately began to "bleed" out - the words were still legible however so it was not a complete loss.
The free pen is a nice little pen - I do like the dropper style pens such as this. I've noticed no scratchiness or loss of fluidity while using it.

Noodler's is the best, hands down. If you want a cool red ink this is a good one for your collection.

This is a fantastic red ink. It is bright and vibrant. Flows well in all the pens I have used it in and cleans up easily. It will feather on cheaper paper or with very wet nibs. Overall this is my favorite red in my ink collection. The free pen is a nice bonus to an already low ink price.

I have had trouble with the more expensive Flex pens, but the 'freebie' that comes with the larger bottles is wonderful. Filling the entire barrel means you never run out of ink. This red is perfect. Not too blue or yellow, not too light or dark, just perfect red. Enough for a lifetime.

This is a nice bright red, but a little thin which means it needs at least a medium nib (I prefer extra fine). But I still love it, and blend it with Noodler's Polar Brown to jazz it up a little.

The ink is fantastic. A really vibrant red. Much better than a typical pinkish or light red in many pens. Stains your hands and looks like blood. Don't count on the free pens that come with it, though. Mine were junk and I lost however much ink I had put in them when I had to throw them away. I wish they would get honest and just stop including these junky pens. Not a benefit at all.

Ink: A superb bottle of amazing red ink that lived up to the samples online. This is my favorite color thus far.

Pen(s): Not only was I sent a Non Named Noodler's Eyedropper pen (which usually comes with the 4.5oz bottles of Nikita Red,) but i was also given a Noodler's Charlie pen as well. 2 free pens is pretty swell.

Seller: I ordered this on Saturday, with an ETA of Thursday or next week, well I got it Monday morning.
