First off, the nutbutter is unbelievably good. It is creamy and rich and almondy. This is my favorite Justin's nut butter. It's their newest flavor and here on Amazon, the most expensive. Even on Justin's website, however, they do not sell it for $14 a jar. On iHerb.com you can find it for $8.91 per jar. So, the price here is outrageous but the flavor is excellent.

UPDATE: I originally gave this one star because of the price but it has been pointed out that this is unfair, which is correct. I love this nutbutter. I eat it right out of the jar or put it in smoothies. It's wonderful. I haven't even checked the price today but i have noticed that it has increased over the past year considerably. OMG, i just checked the price.......over EIGHTEEN dollars for one jar?? Outrageous. I bought these for $9.99 a jar. Wow. Just be aware of this overcharging. Anyway, changing my review to reflect the taste and quality, not the price-gouging.

I received promptly. I ordered near beginning of April. It was thicker compared to other flavor, but it was spreadable. I didn't need to stir. Tasted like vanilla but not strong flavor. After I closed the jar, I saw the best when used by date 05/05/2015. I know that is not an expiration but disappointed. Nut butter goes bad quicker than other butter. I use sparingly, and Justin advertises no refrigeration necessary, but I never bought a butter so close to the best when used by date. Consistency is different compared to other Justin's butter. Not sure if thickness or flavour is due to freshness of product. Will have to wait till I buy this flavour in store to compare. I contacted distributor they said it will last a year after best by date, so I gave one more star than prior review. They also offered me 4 dollar refund. Consistency still different, vanilla flavour not strong and product not as wet as other Justin brands. Nut butter doesn't have to be refrigerated, and since product is still edible after sell by date my emphasis to company was They were selling thru Amazon so close to use by date. I will buy product again even online from this distributor.

I bought it because I was in love with the chocolate almond butter they have.

For some reason my health food store stopped carrying Justin's products so I was happy to see the vanilla almond butter was available here on amazon. Even though it wasn't primeable, I received my order three days later so close enough! I love this flavor and will continue to purchase it. As others have said, it doesn't taste super vanilla-y but it's still delicious. One of the two jars is a bit fresher than the other even though they have the same exp date(7 months from now)

Best nut butter on the market! Let me start off by saying I cannot stand peanut butter, never liked as a child and when I tried again as an adult knew that I didn't have it all in my head. Also not a fan of nutella (I know, I know). I do love almond milk (I have dietary problems with dairy) and thought I'd give this a try...wow! I think I'm somewhat addicted now after my first jar...when my local Target didn't have it on the shelves I went into panic mode and ordered off Amazon here. Trust me, you won't be let down by this delicious butter spread on some warm toast.

Amazing! I saw this in the little 1.15 oz packets on sale at my grocery store and had bought one of each flavor. They were all yummy but vanilla was my favorite. I found it for a decent price but in a much smaller jar at my target so I went online and felt the price for the vanilla was worth it. It's my dessert!

This stuff is addicting. I am addicted to this only from Justin's and it must be vanilla. I have bought three six packs and several boxes of the individual packets. I like the smooth flavor. Its exceptionally good hold over when hunger hits but its not a good time for a meal. A bit higher on sodium but the trade off of a snickers bar...this is my choice.

First off, it's a very tasty product and the attention to quality is obvious. You won't be disappointed. I highly recommend you start out by eating a naked spoonful, taking time to discover the flavors.
The addition of cocoa butter gives this almond butter a silky mouthfeel and some of the mouth-cooling sensation you get from good quality chocolate. There is a hint of chocolate flavor from the cocoa butter, and some vanilla that is floral in character, like Tahitian vanilla. It doesn't have an obvious saltiness.
So here's why I wouldn't buy it again : It's too far removed from the platonic almond butter ideal. It's too refined and nuanced for typical almond butter applications. I want nuts and salt. I want it to stand up to bread and/or jam. It would be a shame to put this product in a smoothie, burying its elegance.
This almond butter would be great to work with to create desserts, pastry fillings and/ or candy fillings.
