Directions

Let me start by saying I love Heritage IPSAB toothpowder. What I'm not a fan of? The peppermint flavor. I preferred the cinnamon flavor toothpowder. Now, that being said, this toothpowder does a great job. It leaves my teeth feeling clean and smooth, and has actually helped decrease sensitivity for me. This is something (the cinnamon version) that my toddler will happily use too.

I've either poured this powder onto my toothbrush, gotten the toothbrush wet and dipped it into the powder (from my hand), or poured it onto my teeth.

PROS:
- nice natural tooth cleaner
- only 4 or so ingredients
- kids can use

CONS:
- peppermint may not be your flavor (I prefer the cinnamon)
- it's not toothPASTE (I can deal with that)

This type of tooth powder takes a little getting used to. It is very salty tasting compared to other brands I've tried but I feel like it gets my teeth clean.They are a little messy at times but I just hold the bottle over my sink and shake it out. The bottle lasts a long time too so it's worth the price in my opinion.

A really excellent product. Great for teeth and gums. Sometimes it's good not to rinse out immediately, but leave in your mouth for 30 seconds, to get the benefit of the healing ingredients. Or put a little in your mouth as a natural freshener and mouth wash; then swish around with a little water; then rinse.

I really like that there are only 4 ingredients in this powder. I have been using this for several years. The peppermint is not as strong as in regular toothpastes, so if I want something stronger on occasion I'll use a regular toothpaste or a mouthwash. But 3 out of 4 times, and always every evening this is what I use. I feel like the salt and baking soda are soothing for any gum and tooth issues. Plus, when I first started using this my mom asked what new whitener I had because it worked great! I think it does help in that area also.
