This is a strange model as it does not have dual sided scan and otherwise it is exactly the same as the MFC9340CDW at the similar price point. I'm not sure what Brother was thinking when they released this model but I don't expect that it will be available much longer. I bought this one and regret it every day we scan our boys homework to Google Drive.

It is a great printer but why buy it when Brother has this same great printer with a dual page scanner for the same or similar price.

Bought this to replace my 12 year old Canon 8170C color laser MFC that finally bit the dust. Couldn't be happier. This puppy is much smaller than the Canon, prints outs or scans the first page almost instantly (no long waits for it to heat up or drums to align), and is whisper quiet. The print quality, particularly text, is razor sharp. My only wish is that there was a real 'multi purpose' tray that would take multiple sheets of heavy paper or labels. With this Brother, you have to feed one sheet at a time for media that is too heavy to put into the regular paper tray.

Like all Brother printers we had, this is great.
Setup was a breeze.
Print quality is fast and great.
Touchscreen on the printer lets you scan and deposit the scanned file on any computer on the network.
The only problem is that it does not have 2 sided scanning. I figured if there was automatic duplexing, there was also automatic scanning, but no such luck. If you are going to be scanning a large number of two sided documents, flipping the pages manually is going to be a pain.

As with other Brother multifunction devices I've installed for clients the MFC9330CDW provides reliable, solid and full featured printing, scanning, copying and fax.

The driver is lightweight, installs easily, quickly and registers the PC to the MFC so scan-to-pc becomes simple without needing a separate setup step. Compared to HP Brother's drivers don't install a bunch of junk, fill your hard drive or slow down your computer.

The iPhone (and I presume the android) app for scanning/printing are excellent in my experience and easy to use. My client prints iPhone pictures and email from his iPhone easily using the office wifi.

The included PaperPort 12 [Old Version]software is a very easy to use tool for managing scanned images and a smart inclusion that Brother provides in their multifunction products. If you find you like PaperPort 12 you might want to upgrade to Paperport 14.0 which is presently the current version. I use it extensively to keep the scans of paper documents organized and quickly available.

This printer is a big guy thanks to the 4 toner cartridges it takes. The output is great. Color is perfect. And it's fast enough for my purposes (a lawyer). I had to call customer service for an installation issue. The call was connected quickly and the tech lady had the patience of a saint and walked me through my issue. It prints 2 sided documents very well. I felt like the specs on this were a little misleading. First, I thought it would duplex copy - 2 sided original to 2 sided copy. It doesn't do that. You can copy two separate pages on to on 2 sided copy. You have to manually flip over the copies and load them back into the tray to do duplex to duplex. Second, I networked this printer wirelessly so my assistant could print from it to. That was pretty easy to do. Thankfully she has her own separate scanner, because there is no wireless scanning capability on this machine. The scanner is very fast (at least compared to what I'm used to which is an older Brother monochrome MFC), but again, you have to wire it to the computer.
This is the third Brother Laser MFC machine I've had and the first color one. I use them A LOT, like all day, every day and I find them to be very reliable little workers. The toners and drums are expensive, but I always buy the OEM versions after a "compatible" cartridge busted open in my first Brother MFC and killed it.

All functions are very quick. I love how fast the scanner works as compared to models I've owned in the past. The only negative thing for me is that the bypass feeder jams constantly. I print a lot of checks and use it a lot. Sometimes it takes 4-5 minutes to get the printer to take one check. Very frustrating, but other than that we would recommend it.

I have used this printer for a week.
The scans and copies are clear and perfect. Touch screen is a good feature too.
The duplex is my favorite part! *saves paper*
The only complaint I have is the price to replace all 4 toners at one time. It will cost you half the price of this printer.
