Excellent. It's the first 'waterproof' paper I've bought and I'm pleased. I went on an outing where my gear got dunked in the ocean a few times. At the end. when I was ready to go home, I needed some paper to write on. I dug-out the pad and although there was still some moisture, I was able to easily write on it!

I use to to log down my UTM grid co-ordinates for my GPS or compass. I often travel in the very deep bush of central Alaska. This note book assures me that my often forgetful state will not be an issue. Being waterproof is a real plus. Not an expensive item to carry and cheaper than life insurance or a rescue helo

I'm about to buy this, but think about it: Something like this is great for people who can't hear, whether or not you use hearing aids. You never know when you might be down to writing notes to communicate and this is perfect for your emergency kit. Just be sure to pack a plastic refillable mechanical pencil with extra leads, or a pencil sharpener. (I recommend 7 mm mechanical pencils with external Pentel rectangular polymer erasers...erasers on pencils wear out too fast to be useful.) You can also use it to take notes of your surroundings or other essential information without worrying about weather or human clumsiness.

For those that do not know, this is not treated paper, but is actually a polyester film at paper thickness, which makes it waterproof AND highly tear resistant. It is basically the same thing as Xerox Performance Never Tear, for anyone interested in making a notepad out of this with a custom pattern, such as dot grids.

This came in early which is great because I really needed it for a time sensitive mission. It was not expensive either which I mean isn't really my problem, my handlers take care of expenses but still. After procurement of the dolphins I set out to for a dry run and to test the water proof quality of the paper. I was able to infiltrate my objective unseen and record all nessecary information. We got lost (the dolphins and I) on the way back to the surface, I suspect it was HAARP testing, anyway about 3 days later we reached the extraction zone and the paper was still good as new.
