I purchased this product to put into a mini-grease gun with a needle tip for greasing the nose gear on a chainsaw bar.

I've used the little grease things made for that purpose for years but those are not reliable. There is not a good way to get the grease pushed down to the insertion point; those plastic things just have the plunger that pushes grease through the needle and nothing to put it in the way of the plunger. I've tossed several that appeared to be half full or more.

So far, this grease in the mini-grease gun is working great. I grease the chainsaw bar's nose gear at the start of each sawing day (again after lunch if I'm cutting all day), just the way I always have. Does it need that much? No idea. But it's been safe and I've never had a nose gear failure.

Using this grease, I have not had any smoke or discoloration of the chainsaw bar - indications of over heating.

If I discover a problem, I'll create an update here.
