I got these to slide on my hands when dumping tanks on a motorhome. I wanted to get powered gloves thinking those would be easy on and easy off. For the first use, I noticed that the gloves came out of the packaging easily, slid onto my hands with little or no difficulty, and felt quite comfortable. I proceeded to hook up the dump hose and start the process when my wife leaned out of the motorhome asking how it was going. I showed her my new gloves and told her I would not need to wash my hands like always .... she pointed out "Honey, you have a big hole in your left thumb". Yup, the thumb had poked through the vinyl. I finished dumping with my bare thumb. The gloves slid off easily when I was all done (pulling them from the wrist left the "dirty" side inside which I liked. I'm going to continue using these but after my one-and-only experience with them, I am going to be much more careful about how I handle things I touch. These are simply not as strong as some of the nitrile gloves that are used in a hospital setting. I think next time, I'll be ordering Nitrile medical-grade gloves even if they are not powered as the strength and puncture resistance are pretty important to me!

These "X-Large" gloves would best fit medium-sized or even largish hands with very large and long fingers. They're strangely shaped: long, thick fingers on comparatively thin hands.

I have extra-large hands in which all the parts are equally and proportionately large: large hands, large fingers, large everything. Getting these gloves on is a real struggle for me. Once they're on, the vinyl is very tight on the hand but roomy on the fingers, in width as well as length. There's about ¾" left at the ends for my fingers to grow into, as parents used to say to kids about shoes (problem is, I'm not still growing). With all the loose vinyl on the fingers, it would be impossible for me to pick up tiny objects with these gloves on. Fortunately I only use them to apply a thick, waterproof substance that's hard to wash off.

The vinyl doesn't stretch nearly as much as the latex gloves I normally buy, so sizing is much more critical with these. Since everybody's hands are different, I guess that's the most important thing to say about them: unless you just happen to have hands shaped like these gloves, they're going to be an odd and possibly troublesome fit.

They really OUGHT to be labeled "Medium X-Long" or maybe even "Large X-Long", but since there ARE no such sizes I guess "X-Large" was the closest they could get. It's just misleading to people with hands like mine, which X-Large normally fits perfectly. Maybe Chinese hands are never shaped like mine.Read more ›

work well but I missed the fact they are powdered. My fault, not the gloves. The only problem I have with the gloves is they like to tear at the cuff when you put them on. I waste one in 8 because of a torn cuff.

Use these for cooking and kitchen prep handling raw meat, chopping hot peppers, or spices that stain. Loose and easy to get on and off, however if doing a professional quick chop, the looseness tests in the way, unlike super tight medical type gloves.
