In terms of perfectly matching aesthetics of two usually disparate styles, this little black Neko is marvelous. Between the oriental wood theme and the inescapable "Tech Black" décor of my workstation, as well as being a flawless little figurine, this is an absolute 5 star decoration. It's actually a bit bigger than I anticipated, going off the product page dimensions, which is a great thing - just the right size actually. And it is quite lightweight, weighing at 1.55 ounces.

Very pleased indeed.

I love my little neko! A friend received a gold one recently as a door prize at our Chinese New Year banquet and he was so cute I wanted one for myself. I decided on the black one (supposed to ward off evil spirits and also provide good luck) and am very pleased with my choice. It does appear that the two kanji decorations are stickers (rather than painted on, like the face and ears), but the stickers appear solid and you can barely tell so I am fine with that. I also purchased a purple one (friendship) as a gift for a friend and am happy with that one as well.

The product is well packaged in a small box and arrived promptly (Thanks Amazon Prime!)
