I purchased this to use to make faux granite counter tops but my husband got to it first and used it for texturing some drywall patches and it worked perfectly (We weren't sure if it would texture the way we wanted as we were trying to match texture that was already there, but it did...and wonderfully I might add!). But I haven't used it on the counter tops just yet and it isn't worn at all from the hard work my husband put it thru!
