I'm a mixed media collage artist which means I glue down lots of stuff to other stuff. This is the best matte medium I have found to date. It protects my images from other layers put on top of them, like watercolor, paint, pencil, more product. It holds well, it dries clear without any shine. Expensive but worth it for protecting your images from possible harm. Great for scrapbookers too. I mix this with paint sometimes because it works well to thin the color.

Dries to almost a plastic strength. Protect your fingers and clothing as it is difficult to remove.

The golden brand is the best of the mediums that I have used. The matte works woks well and gives it a nice matte appearance. If you want a gloss shine on an image you can use omni gel transfer medium as a sealing finish.
