Reef's Ahi is constructed with quick-drying, webbed nylon upper straps and a tractioned rubber bottom designed to shield tender feet from hot sand, jagged stones, broken glass, and other perils of the beach. The cushy, contoured insole cradles the foot for comfort, while the elastic heel strap (available in smaller sizes) helps keep the flip-flop from flipping right off.

    I ordered two pairs of reef flip flops for my twin sons. Same size, same color, same order. They came today and one is new with tags, the other has been worn and still has dirt on the bottom and sole of the shoe. This particular color was cheap, so we will keep them. My boys will get them dirty soon enough. I don't like them mis-representing the product as new though. If these were gifts I would be very upset.

    My almost 2-year old has very wide feet. Up until now I've been paying the big bucks for Stride Rite shoes, because he didn't fit into his size in the regular shoes available through most brands. A family member recommended these to me, and they fit his little chubby feet really well! He's a kids who never stops running, and he falls a lot as it is, so I can't tell how easy/difficult it is for him to walk, but can say that he continues to run really well in them. They're nice and light weight, and the elastic is tight enough that it fit him, even though he wasn't quite a size 7 yet, and they grow with his feet, as they stretch quite a bit. Great purchase! Will definitely get these again next year. Cute pattern too, and the colour goes with most other colours :)

    These shoes were great for my little 2 year old. The straps are snug but soft. The sole has an inward curve so you can feel ok ordering a little bigger and have them grow into them. Perfect for the beach or pool or playing outside. He can also get them on and off himself some days.

    Reef flip flops are great but I bought these specifically because my 4 year old still needs a strap or his flops come off. In the photo it shows a strap. I purchased size 11-12. I bought them in a 7-8 for my 2 year old and his came with a strap.

    These are super adorable. These were purchased for my nephew who was going on vacation to a tropical location. They fit pretty well. The bottom has a lot of traction so they don't just slide around even when my nephew runs. It did take him a while to get used to the flip flops but that's mainly because he's never worn shoes that divide your toes.

    These are a little stiff when they first arrive, but once they are worn for a day or two they are perfect. I cut the back strap off at my son's request. My three year old lived in these over the summer. They fit perfectly to little feet and even stay put when he runs. Will definitely buy again for next summer!

    I paid $8.91 for a pair at the time of this posting. Unfortunately I did not receive the item that was pictured. There were no support straps for behind the ankle either.

    I requested a refund and it was processed immediately.

    Quality is as expected from Reef, comfortable for my child and reasonable durability. Upset I didn't receive the correct item but the issue was resolved immediately.

    Great flips for learners, there is a ridge under the toe that helps them stay on. My son had to go straight to the no-strap version because he has big feet. These are sturdy - great for sand and terrain.

    NOTE: the Big Kid model does not have a heel strap.
